If Wright "will be really good" and it's "easy" to get him, he would already be committed. I think the staff has it's reservations about just how good he will be.

We had two open spots at DE and it was first come first serve. Ford begged Wright to commit early and he didn't. DJ and Garvin beat him to the punch. He's outside looking in as I don't think we need a 3rd DE. Esp a project who has his eyes on bball too.

I'm a big fan of Wright as a development project though.
 
FYI took a visit to Utah and 247 is reporting that every indication at this point and time from him is that he's solid to us

Wright may be good in his own right. But I have a feeling the staff had a spot slotted for DJ regardless of Garvin and Wright. And to be fair, Garvin looks like a monster given the season he just had.
 
only way to deal with recruiting now a days as a UM fan is to believe nothing...good or bad until the day after signing day.
I won't believe any kid is going to sign here until the letter is signed and the fax is in.

Lmao he will be really good and he screwed himself trying to play the recruiting game deciding whether he wanted to play football and basketball or one or the other. Got left holding his **** like Al Golden on signing day.

Garvin swiped his spot right out from under him because he saw the opportunity to be coached by the best. Now, if he lucks into a spot by DJ decommitting I guarantee you he won't be stupid enough to pass it up again

Don't get me wrong, he needs some work and needs to hit the weights but his ceiling is incredibly high

You know what crazy? We all know he's getting blown up constantly by Dan's ripping him and asking if he's leaving. ***** bad enough if it happenshere but to ionce again annoy a 17 year old which is always creepy but when everybody should know how the game is now smh
 
Our fans are the worst about that. Some dumb article comes out then everyone starts screaming "WTH, he sucks we don't need him" people need to stop going for all the click bait. If you sit here and tell me people tweeting the recruits "you suck, we don't need you. On to the next one" doesn't get to them, then you're a moron. They are 17 year old kids once our people start negatively bashing them and they have another fan base saying how amazing they are of course they leave our crappy fan base behind and go with the other. Tired of all these recruiting newbies. Recruiting didn't change when Richt walked into the Hecht.
