What guys has Ivey locked down? I keep seeing people say this chit but I don't know what good/great wr's he's locked down. The people who say this don't know either. Does anybody know?

No...The point of my post was in reply to Mr Dynasty inferring that Miami is making a bad decision by not being interested in someone that Kirby Smart wants. I'm pretty much saying that Smart isn't special when it comes to evaluating DB's, so using an UGA offer as a reason to say he is good enough for a Miami offer over current targets/commits doesn't hold any merit.

Even funnier Saban was pretty much the db coach / evaluator. He was the db guy.

I can't dispute this because I don't know how they do things at Bama. But from what I understood, Smart has been a DB guy his whole career and was initially brought in to coach DB's. You would assume he knows his stuff when it comes to DB evaluating but he hasn't done anything special if you ask me. They got 4 and 5* CB's that played in a run first conference.

My whole point earlier was why are some crying over Wilson? I admit he's a really good player , but we have arguably better players higher on the board who the staff feels good about. And that's not counting the studs we have committed.

It's south Florida , we can't take everyone. There's only 25 spots and only so many db's. There's gonna be a bunch of kids that leave and ball out at other places , no matter how high of a level we recruit at.

I think crying about a cb of all spots is just silly. That's going to be arguably the best haul in the country.

Exactly.... it reminds me of the Desmond phillips situation 2 years or so back but Wilson is much better. We have an extremely talented db class and will be adding Campbell and a shot at surtain. Why are people still b*tching about Wilson?

I'd imagine why the DB's don't usually get a lot of work in Bama is that their Defensive line usually disrupts and destroys QB's and RB's. Miami will get there if they get great linemen. Bama's D is not as good as usual this year, very possible they are on a downtrend. Could it be Smart? We shall see. Not saying you are wrong I think the jury is out right now on that one but Saban doesn't usually keep bums around very long.
