Will be a top 10 class. We didn't "lose" Jeudy or Mckitty, they were never committed. Maybe Richt shouldn't have tried at all so the babies here wouldn't be able to complain. Donaldson was most important. We kept him. Golden-esque means talented players decommit just before signing day. We just lost a project WR who doesn't see the field for at least two years. Forgive me for not panicking.
 
These guys we don't want who "decommit" never wind up at a top program. They always wind up at a directional school.

Let's see if Dingle winds up at a marquee program.

If he doesn't want a guy should he lie and keep recruiting him? It was obvious richt didn't feel this guy was UM caliber for some reason . Could be that we have other guys in the fold who knows. I trust richt with recruiting . That is his strength.

No, but he should be what he preaches and be honest with a kid. Strung him along after accepting his commitment. Not unforseen though.

Donaldson committed to Golden. Been down for years. That's not hard.
 
Might be stating the obvious here, but wouldn't be surprised if we have multiple JUCO receivers in this class given our thin depth next year.

Ok all is well. Not crying about it. What are you basing a top 10 class on? We are as high as we based on volume nothing more. Most teams will be adding until it is over but this class from what I have read will be 15-20 at the end of the day. And of course we never lose anyone and all who leave the class are tool box players. That's why we have struggled 10 plus years. At some point you have to get some of the misses.

Lets not act like Al didn't have us in this exact same position before collapsing. There's guys falling off our board weekly , it's starting to getting that " here we go again " feeling. I can't blame somebody for getting nervous.

Oh I see, if a recruit ends up sticking with his commitment, it's only because they were never really getting recruited by another program so the staff doesn't get credit for keeping them from leaving. You're right, Donaldson was never looked at by anyone else or gave any signals he might go somewhere else since the coach who recruited him is gone. I get how it works now.
 
Why is this a surprise to anyone is beyond me?..... Pete basically has told everyone for at least 4 weeks that the kid wasn't being recruited anymore by UM....

But y'all just ignored it...

Jeudy is the only real "miss" so far and he's been in Bama's pocket. Henderson possibly but I think Dean is an upgrade if we bring him in. Holloman or Smith were never coming here and it's a down year at the position across the board.

Don't think McKitty or Dingle move the needle. If we get Harley, McFarland and the two OL from Heritage, it's a very solid class.
