If this kid doesn’t end up swinging by this is a perfect example as to why our staff operates the way it does, in terms of keep things so close to the vest. Other schools are desperate to keep their targets off of our campus lol. It’s wild

Yeah. Hard to believe if he was planning on coming to the BBQ it's over. He hasn't even decommitted from taint yet. Way too early to 'worry' about an OSU commit.

I don’t know why all the secrecy needed here. The kid is currently committed to OSU. Secrets out that he is looking around. If anything the secret would have been kept from them not UF.

But based on recent events UF will now double down on visit payments just to keep players from even visiting miami (especially same weekend visits). Some players will tell them to kick rocks, some will take the money.

This is not a good look for Billy Bob and Floriduh. If you have to beg a recruit, coerce, or intimidate him into not visiting another school that he had already planned on seeing, it shows major insecurity vibes.

Mario does the exact opposite. He encourages kids to see their other options to make sure that they’re 100% sure with their decision before they commit. Word gets around quickly in recruiting. This will only hurt the gayta in the long run.

Same thing Norvell did with Wims, and it backfired mightily on them.
