The CIS forum after any "not great" news.

You people here make me laugh. The reason why we lose players because this programs SUCKS. Our player development is the pits, we a second/ third tier team in the worst conference in NCAA football, and we can’t fill the stadium. This is NOT the Miami of old and we are a joke to the rest of the country. Some of you guys are living in the past and have a problem dealing with reality.

Man your life must really suck

Was this expected?
I haven't followed his recruitment
Yes, kid is from Louisiana and was fishing for a SEC offer closer to home. Seems like Mississippi is cold enough. Folks had said for a long time that kid was not going to sign with us

This is the University of Miami that we're talking about here. There is a long track record of OOS kids playing for & succeeding @ MIA. Both Keyshawn Lawrence & Branch have extenuating circumstances relating to their families that is preventing them from playing for a school which is far from home. Let's also keep that in mind
This is the U that has been irrelevant for 17 years. You may be living delusionally in the past.

Miami contacted him when Luke was fired.

We need more DBs....desperately if you ask me.

We will have 11 totals DBs if nobody leaves and the current commits sign. With 2 safeties and 3 corners, that's BARELY 2 deep. And no, i'm not counting Harrell or Washington at S. Harrell is a striker to me and Washington is a tweener who doesn't fit anywhere IMO.

On Dline, we will be 4 deep across.
At LB, we will be 4 deep across (2 spots) with 2 deep at Striker (3 if you include Washington).
WR - 3 deep
RB - 4 deep
QB - 4 deep
TE - 3 deep
OL - just about 3 deeps (although not quality)

So again....where's the DB depth? In today's spread world, we need DBs.....and we need speed! You can never have too many corners. In a pinch with injuries or targeting ejections, the bigger ones can play safety.

Miami has never stopped recruiting him behind the scenes. Remains to be seen whether he will be interested since he flipped to stay closer to home.

Hall, Smith, Carter, Bolden, plus Balom and another S this class, that is 6. The DB depth is fine all they need to do is add 1 more S this class and 1 more CB.
