Diaz updates team after Wed. drills, speaks on Lingard

Yes

It's that simple.

LOL sure thing, coach. you must be evaluating him, not playing him over travis homer or deejay, and now with a NEW staff, hesitant to play him over the 2 guys who've stayed healthy. ****, that is simple, you're right.

What I really don’t follow about all is fans calling for Lingard to play is that most fans and coaches wanted to get rid of “the disease” and “promote competition” as well as “change the culture”. How does that work if the first week a 5 star who has barely practiced in a year is healthy he gets to play extensively?

You earn the right to play through beating your competition in practice. Lingard has been injured up until very recently, he hasn't had the opportunity to earn his way back onto the field.

nah cmon man, he had 5 stars next to his name in high school, put him in over deejay and cam!

oh, and he just came off a knee injury and a concussion. LMAO

Threads every week on how he is killing it? It was ONE WEEK he had been going full contact and didn't see the field. One. The same week he took his first inside run drills since his injury.

Some of you get so consumed by your narratives that you start writing fantasy novels.

You misread the entire sentence, but go on...voice your opinion lol

I cringe on what Bud Foster is going to throw at Zion. He’s going to be targeted all game. I hope to see a TE or RB helping him.

Yea, lets keep giving carries to Harris who thinks he can bounce every run outside like he did in high school. Everyone is creaming themselves over two runs Harris had that were called back. Watch the games, his vision is subpar at best.

I know, I swear there are too many video gamer fans these days.

They watch Jarren get knocked on his *** all the time, big Deejay and Cam can't find the smallest crease to run through, but Diaz is a dumb **** for not putting a back in just off a knee injury that requires a hole and can't break many tackles. LMFAO.

NOBODY wants the kid to leave, BUT I should assume nobody wants him right back in the OR again, right?

Players want to play. Fathers want their sons to play. Coaches (good or bad) SHOULD give a rat's *** about their players health.

UM

So.....

I know it is really outside the box and weird but maybe you don't put him in as the primary back....just a thought.

I mean even video gamers could come up with that one.

Then Lingard should beat him out easily.

Primary back... :rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg: Good job gamer.

So put him in to block? (which he is allegedly WAAAAY behind on and wasn't picking up when he was healthy?)

Put him in to jet sweep?.....ala Martell for a gain of 1.1 and bone crushing tackle?

How about to run off tackle into....our tackle going backwards into him for a nice knee wrench to the ground?

So, let's call him the "secondary" back. What would would you like him to do as he stands out there?

I want him to play as well. I know what the kid CAN do....but this team isn't doing what they need to do on offense to let the kid shine at what he does.

I think Diaz is hoping this (coaching may be the question) OL will grow up and gel so that Lo can showcase what he can do without risk of being back injured.

Exactly.

If he can't block don't put him in there to block. There are dozens of ways to get him the ball where he does not even have to be the primary back.

It is just stupid and just shows how limited the thinking is here.
**** is dumb.

These dudes would overthink a ******* from Teanna Trump.

At least Manny is living by his past comments. He said he wanted to build a monster that lasts. Keeping Zion out there to sink or swim is one way of achieving that. The most efficient? Only time will tell. Enos needs to open up the book and let these kids ball out. Should have done it weeks ago. Maybe he was holding back schemes from ACC opponents.

BY THE WAY....I EXPECT TO SEE LO THIS WEEKEND....JUST FYI...AND I PRAY WHEN HE IS IN THERE THEY FIND A WAY TO GET ON THEIR MAN AND STAY ON THEIR MAN.

the coaches don't really wanna play the best players. guys on canesinsight.com think it's super duper awesome that lorenzo was a 5* RB in high school, so....that's who should play.

I think we're growing tired of watching such boring football. Lingard provides a glimmer of hope.

he's the 1 player i've been most excited to see play in the last 2 years. that said, my head isn't completely up my a$s when it comes to expectations of him. sometimes we have to separate our heads from our anuses and form coherent, logical thoughts.
