Diaz updates team after Wed. drills, speaks on Lingard

Lingard doesn’t know where to line up and what to do in pass pro? Has he just been chilling at home and not in the meeting room with the other backs?

It’s week 6 of his sophomore year... Comments like that are an indictment on the coaching staff not the player.

So Zion (who ******* sucks and makes an absolute fool of himself every snap) HAS to play according to Diaz, because he needs in-game reps to get better and learn etc.

But our 5-star stud RB who he claims isn't ready has to toil away in practice and can't even get a few carries?

Lingard-- run for your life and transfer.

Mandy-- go play a dlck like a flute.

Manny needs to learn that there’s no such thing as a “throw away comment” when doing interviews.

I wasn't the one who ranked him coming out of high school, but from your posts we can all see you are smarter than those guys.

Only on CIS does the ***** eye, have a better eye than the ranking services.

So syph, tell us in your evaluations based upon what you've seen this year that leads ONLY you to determine that it is not worth giving him any playing time.

Is he slower?
Cutting not as sharp?
Not running hard enough?
Fumbling?
Not blocking?
Offense too complex?
Etc, etc, etc.

Can't wait for your expert analysis.

lol you're just a ******* moron who took it personally when i asked why he should play over the other guys and it led to this. you can't read, you can't comprehend so you just stoop to attacking people because you are too much of a mook ****tard to have a conversation. shame.

i never said it wasn't worth giving him playing time and that he shouldn't play. it would have been far easier just to say, "ah ok CFDan, you actually never said he shouldn't play." instead you chose to be an ITG and jump right to insults.

to answer your question you insufferable *******, i'm not at practice. see that's kind of my point. i'm not at practice and neither are you. guess who is? the coaches deciding who should play. so that's why i originally asked YOU why he should play. you still don't have an answer. im shocked.

A lot of you "It Lo was ready he would play/Lo has to earn his way back" posters think this is about Lo and really its not..

STORYTIME: Do yall remember when Alabama played Texas A&M when they had Johnny Manzeil in 2013 and it was a thriller. Bama won 49-42. But what I remember most from that game is that Bama could not cover Mike Evans to save their lives in the first half. Evans was roasting every CB on Bamas D. So what did Saban do? He emptied his entire roster until he found a CB that could cover him. He literally benched every CB who got beat by Evans and played the "NEXT!" game until he finally found one. He didn't sit back and wait around for someone to figure it out. He made a move and it ended up winning them the game in the long run.

So whats my point? How is it that we have an able bodied 5* RB on the bench who, is according Diaz, healthy and ready to go and we don't put him out there? What have we seen from anyone else at the backup RB spot that warrants Lo not getting any PT whatsoever? We are in the most crucial part of the season. Any loss will kill our chances at winning the coastal. We need to empty the **** bench until we find the playmakers we need to get this offense going. Having a 6'1 210lb RB with 4.4 speed who was the prize recruit in a top 10 class 2 years ago just wasting away on the bench on a 2-2 team is the dumbest thing any coach can do. Especially a coach who is on thin ice right now.

One freakin week is "wasting away on the bench", huh? Some of ya'll are absolute drama queens.

What makes no sense to me is that Tate is a WR for 1 week and gets what... 5 or more snaps against Florida!?! But Lingard was moving up the depth chart prior to his injury last year and been playing RB his whole life and he gets 0 snaps against CMU! I get not putting him in late in the game. But why not give him carries in the first half after Deejay and Harris get their burn? Maybe he provides the spark we needed on the ground.

No, but it’s CMU... he should be seeing the field if he’s 100%

i'll try asking you since another putz couldn't handle the question without losing his mind.

he didn't beat out homer or deejay last year starting out the season, and now with a different staff he isn't playing vs. CMU over guys who have stayed healthy.

just to clarify im not saying he shouldn't play, but based on what i just said, why SHOULD he play? you guys all keep saying he should play this and he should play that. why? if he isn't getting PT with 2 different staffs now, maybe he needs to keep working until the coaches feel comfortable with him in a game. they are the ones seeing him every day.

Hey Dan...

He was a freshman last year and as others have mentioned, he was playing and showing flashes of being the next great RB at the U and then he got injured. He was above Harris on the depth chart last year and may have even been RB2.

He deserves a shot is what I’m saying. I’m not saying he’s RB1 or RB2 ... just think that the coach saying he’s 100% and will play against CMU... then Diaz should keep his word and play him!

GO CANES!
Josh
