Diaz’s success has to be parlayed into D recruiting!

If it is just dawning on you that a small private school is not like a giant state institution, then you’re going to continue to be surprised by recruiting.

Miami kids have two choices for major in-state public univerities in UF and FSU, and are picked over by Alabama, UGA, OSU, Clemson, Auburn and other programs. That’s just the deal. We have much local talent around, but the amount of it also means we have competition for it. Rather than blame So Fla kids, why not blame the institution for putting such an embarrassingly incompetent program together and failing to make the choice attractive to local kids?

We've always lost talent to other places and we've lucked up with Greats such as Ray Lewis. We've done all we can, legally, to get these kids here. They can play on the national stage day 1 and they decide to leave. We simply aren't the "it" school. When we start winning, we will be again...

Keep in mind, we have a top ranked defense and dont have defensive players lining up to be here... We need some 1st round picks!

We do have a budget... and our assistants in some cases were hired because they understand Miami Culture and/or can raise young men off the field.

I dont expect Coaches to be fired midseason. I expect changes to be made shortly after our bowl game.
