This is spot on. Its how Saban operates. If he visits, it's because he's comin on signing day... the only way that changes is if Bama misses on someone else and opens up the schoolie for Smith.

I also think the dark horse here is the Nolies. They only signed 1 WR last year and only have 2 wr's committed this year. I'm not sure who else they are targeting at that position, but it seems like they would be adding atleast 1 more.
 
Has pete said anything substantial about smith? I can't remember. either he doesn't know what smith is doing or he's a silent. only thing I can think of

Smith isn't going to Bama with 2 WRs already enrolled and another local 4 star WR with 100% of the CBs to Bama. This is going to be LSU, FSU, or UM.

Foil has the same amount of info on Smith as YeastMode. They're both guessing authoritatively.

Most are siding with YeastMode because UM fans don't want to reach for the stars and get disappointed. It's easier to be the fake cool guy who always dismisses UM.
 
Everybody is guessing on Smith. He's kept nearly his entire recruitment under wraps.

It just seems too good to be true but it's not. It actually makes a lot of sense. I say Smith is a Cane.

Bama taking Ruggs who will be their 3rd WR plus the kid called athelete that is a better WR than other positions. They simply do not have room. Plus I will probably have to post this everyday this week, but he is committed to Richt. If I am wrong on this one I will no longer call Fan Cheese by his wrong name.

I mean I've been saying Smith's a Cane lock. Not because of any inside sauces, just because its the most logical, and this kid hasn't shown any signs of absolute stupidity that many recruits show in the recruiting process.
 
Supposedly Bama only has 3 or so spots, Ruggs is a take for them and are trying to finish out on the d-line with the spots
