Smith ain't going to LSU no matter how much cash gets dropped...

From the beginning since he decommitted from UGA, Bama has been his top school...

Before Miles got fired, LSU's staff had completely lost contact with Smith & he had taken them out of his top schools...

Once Eddy O took over, they recently started trying to recruit Smith again, but knowing he's not going to be the HC, Smith hasn't moved them up his list.

It's been Bama as the clear cut #1 & everyone else fighting for #2 ... After Smith had an unofficial with us for UNC, we moved up, but Bama is still his #1 .

I would be absoluetly shocked if he went anywhere else but Bama come NSD.

Why is it I'm the only one that thinks this kid is overrated?

We better pay whatever is needed to secure Thomas 100%...

I knew Smith wasn't coming here, didn't think we would get Harley & I honestly would rather have Pouncey over him...
I think Harley fits best in a Spread Option offense, but I'm not complaining that we're taking him.

Harley is a slot receiver. Pouncey can actually play OUTSIDE.

I think it's a two team race between us and Bama. We should be the easy choice if he's serious about early productivity and playing time, but it's tough to convince youngsters not to follow the front runner even when it would be in their best interest to do so.

If you read the whole post he's referencing easy choice as it relates to being productive and getting early playing time. Bama doesn't offer that.

We do have 2, but Bama's are much more productive in NFL. So Bama also has that going of them in that their star WR's get gradated high and are productive in NFL.

Ok we can do productivity. Where is Bama's Irvin, Johnson, Wayne, and Moss? Your point is taken but Cames should not short change what our program has accomplished even in recent years all things considered. I was responding to the statement about sending kids to the NFL. We still do that and we did it even when we had lame coaches. So you still CAN make it to the NFL from UM. Kids go to Bama because they are front runners and it's the "****" thing to do.

Our staff is sending a NLOI to Smith, but Ivins doesn't believe he'll sign it and will sign Bama's.

Hillery may flip to NC State, but Ivins thinks he's just building suspense and will stick with UM.

I can understand smith over miami a little because its closer to home than miami plus saban and more incentive at the time but juedy I don't understand leaving home going there to be the back up for the back up and I know he is extra salty now when he watch the hurricanes ball out at home

I don't think Bama's fans or theri OC even rememember him. He and Jeudy are glorified lockers and decoys. Ruggs is their go to freshman.
