What have you heard on Holloman? And, while I'm asking you questions, what do you think of Richt as a recruiter, I know he was a beast at Georgia. Does he close this class with a bang or with a whimper?

See my answer above to mostly on Holloman. Think Coach Richt is a great recruiter if he is dealing on a fair playing field and particularly with kids from good famalies, moms love him Not knowing all these recruits nd particular some of the late offers going out hard to predict, but he usually closes with some good surprises on Nsd unless an Auburn or Ole Miss slips a late envelope.

I doubt Holloman comes myself but it's not fact just because it's your opinion. No need to come onto the Canes board and say it on every single thread. Worry about the ****ty Dawgs beating Kentucky and Vanderbilt and South Carolina. Y'all are struggling enough in the SECeasy.

Not a fan of Kirby Smart myself, but do pull for Dawgs because of knowing several of the kids on thT team.

As for a bowl game what was said today Ga would not want to play Miami in bowl because it would be a lose, lose situation. Speculation is they might get Pitt who Chubb and Michel would curb stomp.
 
Many people are counting Ed Orgeron out of the race for LSU's head football coach position, but the staff hasn't stopped furiously working the recruiting trail for the Tigers.

LSU hosted 2017 5-star linebacker Dylan Moses and 5-star wide receiver Devonta Smith on Tuesday for unofficial visits, a source confirmed to Tiger Blitz. Smith made the trip from nearby Amite, La. and Moses is back home right now in Baton Rouge for Thanksgiving break.

This fall, LSU hosted both Moses and Smith on unofficial visits for the Southern Miss and Ole Miss games respectively. Moses committed to Alabama shortly before making his way to Tiger Stadium to take in LSU's win over the Golden Eagles.

The Tigers reentered the mix for Smith's signature right after Orgeron was named interim coach with wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig and Orgeron working on Smith.

Moses is an early enrollee and time is certainly running out for LSU to make the flip from Alabama, but another visit from Moses gives that more potential if Orgeron is named the head coach at LSU.

Smith is set to announce his decision on National Signing Day, but is planning a few official visits and Alabama remains one of the top schools to beat for the No. 1 player in Louisiana.

Orgeron made comments following the Alabama game that players like Crimson Tide left tackle Cam Robinson should be at LSU. The Louisiana native is working to make sure that's the case with these two 5-star targets.
The pair of elite prospects are taking in practice and have been meeting with the staff while on their visits.

(The mentions of Moses were by the LSU writer because they visited together & he was writing about them both)

Basically, they're both being recruited by LSU as Bama recruits... That was the point of the article from TigerBlitz.
 
I don't see Smith picking Miami. There hasn't been any smoke there recently. Does he still have an OV for Miami left?
 
His recruitment has been strange just because most highly ranked players who not only are from Louisiana but being recruited heavy by Bama and LSU usually aren'tthis quiet. If he still has an OV then iI'll get a feeling about him

Smith ain't going to LSU no matter how much cash gets dropped...

From the beginning since he decommitted from UGA, Bama has been his top school...

Before Miles got fired, LSU's staff had completely lost contact with Smith & he had taken them out of his top schools...

Once Eddy O took over, they recently started trying to recruit Smith again, but knowing he's not going to be the HC, Smith hasn't moved them up his list.

It's been Bama as the clear cut #1 & everyone else fighting for #2 ... After Smith had an unofficial with us for UNC, we moved up, but Bama is still his #1.

I would be absoluetly shocked if he went anywhere else but Bama come NSD.

Bama's class will be loaded once they win another championship and that will have to weigh on his mind. Early PT or sit for a couple years at Bama.

Theoretically speaking, you're right...

I don't think there's another P5 program that offers more early PT right away for Freshman than us right now...

Still doesn't matter though when it comes to crootin', these kids don't give a f*ck about PT as much as they like to make people think.

What matters most is relationships with Coaches/primary recruiter... Which includes $$$ offers.
 
Alabama is gonna sign Nico Collins as well. Makes no sense for Devonta Smith to go to Bama when they already have Jeudy as well.

Kids love to hop on the bandwagon now a days. I expect him to be at Bama next year.
 
Bama also has that Shavers kid....these kids just don't step back and take a look at the full picture that's right in front of their face. Not enough PT for everyone. I think LSU might have a shot with Smith depending on who the next coach is though.
 
Bama isn't going to lose any of their top 3 wrs either with 2 studs at least in this class also smh. These kids don't think recruitingwise and tthat's why blaming the coaches all the time for a kids decision is dumb as ****

Depends on the kid majority of the kids wanna play early, i agree with you if he comes here he playing right away
