JC Jackson or bust

Exactly. If they're going to start pursuing cumbuzzards then they should have gone after Echols, the Texas transfer.

UM took Safety Adrian Colbert as a grad transfer who was better than Echols. UM needs pure corners with speed, hence I why think Worthy is a potential better choice than Echols. But ultimately I think JC Jackson would be the immediate answer as a shut down corner.

Kirby Smart hoping to bring Johnathan Abram back to Georgia with JUCO offer

Defensive back Johnathan Abram made the decision to leave Georgia's program following the 2015 regular season, after former head coach Mark Richt was fired and former defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt told the position group he would not be retained.

That's not stopping new head coach Kirby Smart from trying to bring him back to Athens.

According to VarsityPreps.com's Demetric Warren, Georgia is among the schools to offer a scholarship to Abram, who is now at Jones County Junior College in Mississippi.

Abram left the Bulldogs during bowl practices, shortly after Smart was hired. A source told The Telegraph that Abram left the program with hopes of following Pruitt, who ended up taking the defensive coordinator job at Alabama, which opened after Smart became the head coach at Georgia.

To no surprise, Alabama also offered and would more than likely be considered the front-runner to land Abram.

Georgia and Alabama aren't the only programs trying to land Abram after having previous ties with him.

Richt and his new program Miami have also apparently offered Abram a scholarship too.

South Carolina, which has former Georgia receivers and interim head coach Bryan McClendon on staff, Mississippi State and Southern Mississippi have also extended scholarships to Abram.

Abram appeared in 10 games for Georgia in 2015 and earned four starts. He finished his freshman season with 25 total tackles and a quarterback hurry.
