He is faaaaarrrrrrr from 100% out there. Dude is running like a 4.9 forty at this point. He is probably our most athletic DB when healthy.

If he doesn't improve next week they might need to start thinking about giving him a redshirt due to injury and if they do need him, they can just pull the redshirt.. I think he could get the medical redshirt if he doesn't play in more tan 4 games.

He's not injured any longer, or he wouldn't be out there. It's all mental and football conditioning at this point. He looked stiff and a little scared to move out there to me. Looked like an 80 year old man.

Had some "wow" moments in the not-so-good tone of "wow".

Deon is the freaking man, though. Heart and soul warrior. Guy was sacrificing life & limb last year to bust fools. Just a matter of time til he gets back up to speed.

As bad as he looked, this is exactly what he needed. He needed to get his feet wet and get some live action on tape. We have to remember that not only has he missed 2 games he also missed 2 scrimmages. He will get more reps next week, against another weak team, and he should be good to go by the Georgia Tech game.

Obviously rusty. He looked stiff and tentative. Just wasn't dialed in like usual.

He'll be better next week.

Doubt he'll shirt just needs weight room and confidence....i just hate seeing him run without the fierce pursuit to bring hurt to whoever he hits.... He ll be alright i just wanted him to sit before he re injured himself ...

No one loves suggesting redshirts more than message board posters. Bush is one of our best players. He's healthy. He just needs to get in football shape and trust that he's healthy.

Bush looked like a guy just getting back to playing football. If there was any thought of him redshirting, he wouldn't have played so much tonight. It's that simple

The hope is he continues to get better physically heading into league play

This is why you play him in a meaningless game and not against the Gators where it costs you.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't turn the corner by the GT game.
