LOL, no. I'll put it this way--if we had Sean Spence, would he come off the field? There were a lot of downs where Perryman wasn't on the field. He hits harder than Spence and is more explosive but he's not there as a complete linebacker. This team could desperately use Spence to run its middle and play the pass. But on this defense with this personnel Perryman will glow as its obvious strong point.

Spence was overvalued. He was a solid player on a bad team so his legend apparently continues to grows. He is not in the same breath as Vilma, DJ, **** even Beason. Perryman has a chance to be.

Spence actually had a drop off his sophomore season. Perryman in my opinion is a little bit ahead of where spence was in his career at this stage.

lol I think a lot of people forget how good Spence was. All-time great UM linebacker? No. Really ******* good college linebacker? Yes, and better than Perryman (so far)..

I think most of our LB's didnt get too much action just because BC didn't run the ball too much.

Next week against Kansas State should be a real test for our LB's.
