This is about specific things that he does wrong.

we got rid of one asshat (three DUI Guidry - worst thing you can do is what he did and he did it multiple times). time to get rid of another.

I get the feeling D Smith is one of those who show up to **** Fish or Gekko thinking hes hot **** but uses UMs corporate card to pay for his life because no way hes pulling in six figures doing that gig

No dealings with Smith, but noticed a recent personal post. Have to wonder about potentially impacting job performance and personal interactions. May be a reason to cut him some slack

It's fine. I've expressed my feelings on Dennis Smith numerous times, and I want to avoid being too repetitive out of respect for @DMoney .

But UM is my alma mater, and this situation bothers me more than mere "wins" and "losses". I'm mad as **** about our men's basketball results too, but I know our problems did not arise from Coach Larranaga treating anyone with disrespect or arrogance.

I'm ready for positive change, but I have a short fuse when it comes to UM employees doing bad things that make UM look awful.

Not defending him and don’t know who he’s ****ed off. Just wonder what impact his personal issues have had, Sounds like he’s been thru a rough stretch and wish him well.

You don't have someone in your crew who you know is an absolute ****?! Every crew has one.. you know they are a piece of ****, but they're your piece of ****, you know? That's how this all makes sense to me at least.

You learn to hide them, but then you forget.. let them try to handle something and you remember that they are who they are and tuck them back in the shadows when you're out in public.. Mario just forgot again, it happens. 🤣

I think many of us do - but as you said, you don't put them in situations or positions to impact you or others. You know their limits and you do not trust them to do the right thing, something they've struggled with time and time again over the years....at least that's how i treat them.

I also wouldn't hire them. That's just me. I might help them get a job somewhere, but not reporting to me. I keep business and personal separate because within those work hours and work walls, it can't be personal.

That is not what I said! I said I forget that they are shiiit, and do put them in spots that impact myself and others. 🤣

I think we run in different kind of circles and that is A okay. Just adding some personal experience and brevity to a situation none of us control anyways.

Lol - you said hide them! And shadows! I misinterpreted.... i took that as not giving them important roles in the public eye.

I have cut some out that have failed me time and time again. I haven't cut the ones who try. But i do have a separation of business and personal.
