Booger T is a joke. And Lice is a pariah. Just look at the jizzbag felons he has hanging around that program, who are blatantly and openly anti-UM.

Every year it seems like people have never been through these recruiting cycles, some guys commit and never say a word, others commit, are all over the place but stay committed and then there are the guys who play games, have a change of heart or who get dropped. This stuff happens, it will happen again this year, next year and forever... Relax and understand this is recruiting. It doesn't help to start ripping kids, programs or their coaches.

I don't think anybody here is upset about potentially losing this kid because none of us has a ******* clue if he's worth a 'ship or not.

What has people acting like Mr. Jimmy Rustle is that he's an unproven product, who was offered a scholarship (perhaps prematurely), committed hardly two weeks ago, and is now backing off that commitment. And he's from BTW, who's played around with us more than Briscoe played XBox.

The thought may be, Kid should feel blessed to have an offer - more blessed than the average SoFla kid - so ****'em for disrespecting us.

Not an unfair reaction.

Lol its sad how ppl on this site continue to react like ******* every time a commit makes a comnent that can be taken out of context....

and whats even more sad is the fact that this player is a zero star recruit that has yet to play a down of high school football smh.

I don't think any of those BTW recruits will commit or stay committed to Miami. Booker T Washington High School home of the Divas. So Sad!!! Just look at the ones from last year.

How was is it taken out of context? Perhaps you don't know what that means.

The second part that this kid would look around is the joke of the year. He has no real stats, he has not played in a real game and has a basketball picture. Only in South Florida.

How do you determine that? After his press attack last year, anything that happens like this at BTW makes him suspect. Actions speak. Even after that bs last year, Golden offers a kid with no playing time at all--not just the star kid Thomas, but a total unknown. Nigel has already said his upcoming commitment is not a real decision. Clearly something makes kids at BTW feel a promise means nothing. Some schools teach kids to stick with promises, so don't. BTW clearly teaches your word mean little. Kirkland splashed egg all over Donna, Art and Mike last year. Golden stayed away from that meeting. He is showing no hard feelings by offering even unknown kids at BTW this year. If this stuff continues there, Golden will have the political capital to make it known the BTW kids will not get offers in the future. Do you think that will hurt BTW's ability to recruit their players when it is known that no way in **** do you get from there to THE U? Golden is probably to good a man to do that, but I sure would. Something like, "Unfortunately, we can't continue to waste precious recourses recruiting a program that does not want kids to go to THE U." You think Donna will override Golden again? You think Kirkland didn't embarrass her in February? Kids can go where they want. They do not owe THE U. Coaches can do as they want also--although you could make an agreement that some owe THE U a lot. Just remember, so can THE U.
 
This is money time for coaches and kids. If you don't understand that, how it works and why it is to their benefit to state publicly that they are "looking" EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT..... STFU! Some post's in this thread proves that most on these boards don't know anything about how the game works. I'm as big a Cane's fan as any on this board. I WOULD tell my kids to commit to The []_[], get their spot, Go Visit Schools with me, make me money, get their friends and my kids with dreams a HARD look and than come home and play for Miami. It's a game. You don't want to lose the relationships you built with other schools and coaches. You want the ability to get your money and your kid's ships, that can't get them from every school. They come to see the big fish and find kids with "potential". You must at least pretend that you are bringing them your best product. If you DON'T think Golden knows why they say the things they do, than your seriously misguided. Not every kids coach allows them to just shut it down. Do the kids need to be so public about it? In BTW case i think maybe. The MT6's and DK's were straight up garbage. They put that entire program under the bus. That bridge is not burnt. Golden is not stupid. I highly recommend some of you google more and type less.
NOT A FLAME/ and if you want to google start with AAU basketball and go from there. Do you think the explosion of 7 on 7 tournaments in the state of Florida is because everyone wants to give up their time for free? PLEASE...... Go Canes

These guys don't understand the recruiting game Boar. That's why Bethel is going to commit and take visits. He has to play the game for his coach.

When you guys are done blowing each other, answer the following questions:

1. Perhaps this kid is an exception to your rule above? He has no real stats, never played in a real game and has an offer fron Miami. Do you think he should be grateful for the offer? Do you think his coaching staff needs to explain to him the stuff above?

2. Then why commit? If it is a joke, then why commit so early?

Our school takes it seriously, the kids should as well. If the kids are going to do the above, they better explain that to the staff. It seems like this joke or game is played at UM more than other schools. These coaches that encourage this are the real joke, they spit on our program and abuse it as well.
