His attempts at tackling ball carriers in 2024 have been....something.

Also, this may not be fair but if he was truly committed he would likely have gained more than .00012 pounds since arriving way back in January 2022.

No facts to this same lame attack on players from fans. Brandon Meriweather wasn’t the biggest cane in the secondary either.

The Fact is that no one has been worse tackling ball carriers than Powell and Zaquan was a glorified linebacker in high school and needs time to develop.

You gotta just chalk the defense up to coaching at the end of the day. Unless you truly think Georgia tech, duke, cal all have more talent than we do. We are failing the players. I am not saying we have all world talent on defense, we don’t. But it’s good enough to not look like a complete circus

Talent might still be a reason

But it’s certainly not a good enough excuse in year 3 with the portal

I know we needed a rebuild but acting like we had to find players to field a team and get donations for jerseys we were so low is nonsense

Honestly I think this game is what Cam needed. He’s been feeling himself a little too much lately and keeps looking for the big play, I firmly believe we would’ve won if he had taken what was given to him and hit those gimme throws.

We talk about our defense (rightfully so) but our offense scored 23 and was a mess all game. If Cam learns from this game and improves off of it I think he can reach another level and we can absolutely out score anyone despite our defensive woes

I’ve been saying that man. All I hear is guirdy can’t trust the backups. Well what is he trusting ? The results have been terrible
