I prefer Garvin on the Weak side, but depending on what weight Hill comes in as I believe he'll be the starter at Strong-side.

IMO, Nesta will eventually be the starting 3-tech, but the coaches are going to value the experience of Seniors in Pat Bethel & Chigozie early on in the season, allowing for Nesta to be a pass rushing interior menace on 3rd down.

I also wouldn't be shocked to see Patchan as a Weak side rusher as well, even though typically DE's his size are SDE.

And yes I do believe Rousseau will play a ton on both sides as a pass rushing specialist.

And he’s a grown *** man right now.
 
Our pass rush will be even better this year than last on the edge. As consistent and all around as Joe Jackson was, he wasn’t much of a pass rusher and didn’t have much bend. The addition of Trevon Hill (great bend) and getting Greg Rousseau back is huge for putting pressure on the QB.

I structured it based on what I believe the coaches will do, not exactly how I personally would line'em up.

I would start Nesta, but I believe the Coaches will go with the veterans in Chigozie & Bethel to begin the season, but as the season progresses I think Nesta will move his way into the starting 3-tech spot.
 
I'm confident all 8 can get the job done in any particular order.

Other than that I like Nesta foaming at the mouth to come off the bench to start the year.

I'm looking forward to seeing which one steps up.

Harrison-Hunte is coming in at 6'4 285lbs, Holley at 6'2 280lbs & Blissett at 6'3 270lbs.

That's just what their current listed weight is, they obviously could be bigger since they should be working out even before they hit campus & it's possible they've added more weight.

But all 3 of them have very good upside & once they get in our S&C program will continue to grow & develop.

SDE: Hill/ Patchan

There’s no way Garvin and Hill aren’t the 2 starting ends come Florida. With DT there seems to be a solid 4 but can’t really tell who will start, Nnoruka will hopefully give Silvera a run for the starting job.

I feel you. Bethel is just more of a backup to me. But i do feel that they will at least for week 1 start bethel and chigozie. And the other reason i liked the 2nd group too because the first lineup had rousseau 3rd string behind harvey.

Patchan and bethel will both start.
Rousseau will be the 5th d end lol.

Nesta should be a starter on this team. He got a year to get his body ready and that’s what we expected but now it’s time to show why you were a top 3 DT in the country.

Patchan and Rousseau will get a lot of reps, regardless if they start or not. Both will have an impact in every game.

I think Rousseau is going to move to the weak side behind Garvin freeing up that spot for Hill... dude is a beast that didn’t come here to play behind a redshirt freshman that’s just the way it is.
