I really don't think some of this is on guidry. 3M dollar d line getting no pressure. Back 4 play abysmal. 4 touchdowns given up due to bone head player mistakes.

With all that said....what the **** happened in the 2nd. Watching intently, we didn't change all that much from a scheme prospective.

A lot of what happened was actually great game planning. They know we’re not going to bring pressure because of our front and they max protected and rolled him out. They also knew we are aggressive and used it against us with those big screens. Once we knew the playbook they couldn’t move the ball.

Not doubt Guidry doesn’t adjust as we keep playing especially with the tougher part of the schedule up next.

Hard to get pressure on the QB when they are running mostly screens and quick game. When he did drop back and scan the field, we got pressure in those moments.

The biggest issue for us is we don’t have great eye discipline, so we’re getting killed on misdirection plays with eye candy. Also, guys are taking bad angles and missing tackles. All of that is a recipe for disaster.

I have faith in Guidry to figure it out. But some of these issues are personnel related and it’s going to eventually catch up to us.

First half was atrocious, but I thought he made the right adjustments right before half accounting for the RBs coming out in the flat and what not. The Cam pick 6 hurt bad, but like always, he turned it around.

The back 4 really need to quit with the bone head plays though. They are definitely getting experience over the last couple of games. Hopefully it will show on the field soon....specifically in Louisville after the Bye.

Cal coaches took their feet off the gas and played conservative and ***ked around and found out!

We just need the defense to play average, that’s all. Our offense is going to carry us the whole season. That’s just the team we are

For sure. But from what I watched vs say mid 2nd qtr, not much changed on d. Certain players played assignment football. They schemed up those first 28 pts for sure, but if our back end and popo do their job, no way the score on any of them.

The qb was 11/17 300 yards. They had 6 rushing yards. And had 35 pts lol.

Some of it is guidry has to get them ready and scheme it, sure. But our defense gets sloppy and doesn't play assignment football. In the 4th qtr, Jaden Harris didn't even know where to line up. Was in the box and had to be told to play middle field.

we need a co DC. They can call the first half and let Guidry call the 2nd half. Problem solved

First 2 1/12 quarters he got clowned. How many 50+ yard plays did they have, 4, 5? But they showed up in crunch time

4 or 5 plays we were absolutely gashed, but they didn't have a long, sustained drive aganist us like VT. Really weird.

Lots of issues to fix, thank God it's the bye week.

Our secondary was garbage. Ward once again saved us and we're not worthy of all he has done. He had an int but also 400yrds passing
