Agreed. Although his effectiveness as a coach is premature. He's probably Mario's best recruiter.

I'd get more specific than that. On average, a new coordinator will bring in 1 - maybe 2 - guys (not an entire staff)..

It’s enraging lol state secrets for no reason. He’s outcoached and schemed in most games anyway.

It’s not rare at all. Jim Knowles didn’t take not 1 coach with him to osu and they are doing fine. Actually have the #1 defense. Banks at tenn he didn’t hire a single coach and they were top ten on defense. Golden didn’t hire the guys on nd defense. Golding didn’t hire anybody at ole miss.

I can keep going but it’s a myth created on this board that top guys bring in there guys when it’s false. Some places do allow a coach to bring a guy but in most cases the hc make the hires. These guys just aren’t good coaches here because every other team does it but at Miami it’s consistent problems

No new Coordinator want positions coaches from a failed staff, I can see a situation where the new OC/DC has to keep the current staff due to the outgoing OC/DC leaving to become a HC or leaving for NFL.
