Nobody is calling you any names, stop your crying. To act like you're so smart because Steele was going through his HR training at Maryland for a couple of days IS actually acting like a ****head. Maybe you are a ****head and maybe you aren't, but you chose how to behave in that situation.
Regardless of how "crotchety" I might sound, this is what happens when someone makes a valid point about Steele not being a DC with a staff to poach from, while another person (you) pretends that a couple of days of work out of the preceding two years is not, effectively, unemployment.
"Succinct". Sure. Whatever you say. I said Steele was unemployed, you're the one who jumped out of the bushes to start a fight with "well, technically, Steele had provided his I-9 form to Payroll and the University of Maryland had entered his personal data into ADP".
