DB Recruiting

Clarke = playmaker. He'll be a contributor on special teams as well. Another thing I like about Clarke is his ability to catch the ball and that he doubles as a WR too. Baller.
Like him at WR. Hopefully he can be a Phillip Buchanon type of playmaker at CB. When he gets a pick he is a real threat to house it.

Clowning aside, Dom Hill and Clarke (one of my favorite recruits in this class) would offer legit speed to the CB position.

we are now "DITRU" ...diamond in the ruff U
We kind of always have been. Those 80's and 90's teams never killed it in recruiting. They were great evaluators and ahead of their time with JJ's 4-3 scheme using smaller faster players.

Anybody theoretically can play at Miami but everybody CANT play at Miami if that makes sense. Sometimes it’s better not to get someone then to go for a hard reach, that’s how you end up with lots of dead weight on the roster. If the db crop is down this bad this cycle other than Bryan George left on the board it’s better to see what transpires in the transfer portal as there are going to be some names out there ultimately that for sure...

Let me be clear outside of a few dbs that should be in a normal class that we have committed now THIS is bad db recruiting, no sugar coating that and I’ll gladly take any of the 2018 of 2019 db classes over this but we have to see how it plays out but at this point like I said before no point in reaching anymore. Wait until someone shows in the transfer portal
