So, here's the perspective of a respected "insider" on the Bama board. This guy predicted a "rough cycle" for Kirby months ago.... He makes alot of very valid points.....

The first thing Kirby did was lie to high school coaches and players in the state of Georgia. Time after time, he promised certain things and did not deliver. Justin Fields is the most obvious example of those promises not being fulfilled. That caused a significant amount of bitterness. Early success tempered those issues, but they never went away.

Don’t think for a minute that Kirby going out and getting JT Daniels after promising Julian Newman the starting job if he left Wake Forest hasn’t caused a problem in that program. Jake Fromm/Justin Fields part two with same vanilla outcome However, this time, you are playing with Newman’s career, as he has no other place to go. When, not if he doesn’t start, That program could implode given the SJW status of many players currently It does not matter that Newman cannot pick up the complicated new offense. It does not matter that Daniels is probably a better quarterback. All that matters is that Newman was promised the job, and that promise was not kept… Again

Last cycle, Kirby went national with “the program”. Go check out last year’s top players in Georgia and you will see that the dogs did not target those players as aggressively as they have in the past. Those they did target were skeptical And the results were obvious they did not buy what Kirby was selling. This was a result of the unfulfilled promises, lies and hot air emanating from both the head coach and the staff generally.

Do not doubt the money. The TE from Vegas made five unofficial trips to Georgia. His mom doesn’t work. Kirby was so desperate for a recruiting title that he could sell, he literally got the bags out and did what was necessary.

All that being said, something is amiss in Athens…… Is the Faustian promise being played? Could be great theater this fall

Want to laugh at the guy but he is being really gracious and respectful of the Canes. Giving us props on our recruiting and saying we are going to be a big time powerhouse in a couple of years.

Yeah, I started off laughing at this. A few minutes later I felt bad for the guy. And by the end I wanted to buy this kid a beer and tell him things would be ok (and fvck UiF).

I dunno about you guys but it IS nice to hear about other program's dirty laundry for a bit.

I can't really say I have any animosity for Georgia, but it's nice to see any program above ours implode.
All the recruiting battles that they have battled and mostly beaten us in, plus the SEC hooray crap, and you don't have any animosity?

They are no where the level of FSU, UF, ND, or even OSU, but aside from those Georgia is next up right with Alabama, since they love to take the best South Florida players.

It's weird because I grew up liking Georgia, given our mutual hatred for UF and the fact that Richt was there.

Now they are on our turf and a real problem.

Not sure how to feel towards them now bar the game vs UF.
I hate UF more than anyone. *maybe* Notre Dame. But when UGA plays UF every year, I always have and always will root for UGA. The way we keep UGA from poaching our recruits is WIN

Not really. They hate UF a lot, so I agree with them on that.

I hate:
UF
ND
FSU
OSU
Bama

That doesn't really leave me a lot of room for another team to hate.

This RayUGA character is insane.

First, he tells you that he was SO SHOCKED that he fell to his knees and vomited.

Then he tells you that he WARNED the Georgia fans that James Williams was not a lock.

Pick a lane, douche.

Well he seemed to be on his deathbed so I guess he figured he’d be nice on his way out..🤣
