Darrius Clemons 22 WR offered

No. He wants to be OU. I want to win rings. Not the same but I can see how you could think that.

Even though nobody does it anymore, you need to be able to say that I can beat you running the ball 40 times. If you’re effectively running the ball 25-30 times in a variety of styles then your O is a joke and one dimensional.
Well I'm not disagreeing. But You can be OU AND physical at the LOS, which is probably what most want. But most people associate ground and pound to basically the offense the patriots just used to beat the Bills, which nobody wants.

Pass First + Able to just manhandle defenses in short yardage and redzone.

Mario's still in that same suit! MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Unless this kid decides to sign February I just don’t see it happening. I hope he does but I need to see it first to believe.

Wish I new this kid had florida ties. Id have gone to a high school game this year in canes gear. Then again it wouldn't have mattered until this week. Maybe I can park my canes plate covers strategically to help with the subliminal messaging or something.

Miami lock. Dad is from Miami and moved there for a job opportunity. The kid wants to play in front of his grandparents. The Crib Media contacted Miami's staff about this kid a long time ago but they didn't want to offer. Verified 4.3 speed and one of the top receivers in the country but wasn't good enough for Manuel Diaz.
How do you have a kid like this with only 8 recruits signed and you don’t go after him?? Was he that trash of a recruiter??

Doesn't dead period start Sunday PM?
Don't get me to lie, I don't know or pay attention to the dead period stuff lol. Believe Macho said it earlier in the thread. Maybe they are just touring and not meeting the coaches?

Everyone is talking about how his dad played at MNW, but let's talk about the 600lbs gator in the room as in his Dad played at UF per the interview above.

I am hoping there is no latent UF anti-Miami bias on the dad's part.

Go Canes

Crazy Manny I tell ya

Rushing Attempts per Game in 2021
Michigan 42.2 (ranked 20)
Georgia 36.6 (ranked 71)
Alabama 36.3 (ranked 75)
Cincinnati 33.6 (ranked 102)
Oklahoma 33.3 (ranked 107)

Rushing Yards per Game in 2021
Michigan 223.8 (ranked 10)
Georgia 194.8 (ranked 31)
Cincinnati 179.8 (ranked 50)
Alabama 147.1 (ranked 81)
Oklahoma 176.6 (ranked 53)

Looking at these stats, I'm not sure any of the playoff teams outside of Michigan can really be considered "ground and pound" offensive schemes (though that obviously depends on how you define "ground and pound"). That said, however you define it, OU isn't that, and their inability to effectively run the football when it counts and control the lines of scrimmage has almost certainly been a big part of what keeps them from getting to the next level.

Rule changes and changes in offensive and defensive schemes/philosophies have made traditional run-heavy schemes outdated. You need to spread it out and throw the football downfield to win big in today's game. But that doesn't mean power running concepts aren't important parts of offenses today or viable schemes, especially in CFB. Being able to dominate the LOS will always be critical in the game of football.

There’s a reason elite DTs and offensive linemen are in such high demand and get paid the most by the big bag schools.
