Darrius Clemons 22 WR offered

My buddy talked to his dad tonight.
His only concerns are the "rebuild process" (non issue IMO) and the type of offense we're going to run. Other than that, we have everything in our favor. I'd be shocked if he doesn't end up here.
If we were in the SEC I'd say it's a rebuild but in the coastal this **** can be rebuilt next year. Plus TVD lifts all boats.

Valid concern for sure, waiting to see what the offense will be but the same can obviously be said for Oregon. Auburn doesn’t spread it out and Harsin’s approach has always been slower, more traditional and closer to pro style. Michigan isn’t spreading it out and airing the pill either and they are run heavy. Another reason why we need to announce Brady if he is the guy. His name still has juice and every single 22 kid remembers that LSU offense from a couple of seasons ago.

BTW, really like this kid. I had never peeped him prior to yesterday but he looks like the total package.

Does his dad realize Mario was just hired a couple days ago?

Miami lock. Dad is from Miami and moved there for a job opportunity. The kid wants to play in front of his grandparents. The Crib Media contacted Miami's staff about this kid a long time ago but they didn't want to offer. Verified 4.3 speed and one of the top receivers in the country but wasn't good enough for Manuel Diaz.
We had people wanting Manny for another year lmfao. They know that we all know who they are.

Lmao @Coach Macho are you seeing this?

This board cracks me up. All 4 playoff teams are ground and pound but “don’t bring that to Miami”. ***** hilarious.
Bama isn’t ground and pound.

Georgia is and has a defense that before Bama was giving up less that 13 points a game

Michigan has an Offensive Line that is one of the best in the country. When we have that let me know

Cincy is a balanced offense spread

Oh please. You’re finding any little thing to keep you from admitting that all 4 of these teams need their dominant running games making them a ground and pound offense. All of this is hedging is because you don’t want to admit you’re wrong.

Because I’m not. No hedging. Mario won’t be in the playoffs with a ground and pound offense in Miami. Period. Gave a **** what you think the playoffs team run. Keep that ****

So you’re publicly stating right now that you’d rather look cool than win…because that’s essentially what you’re saying.

So to you it sounds like you are defining any team that has a dominant run game is "ground and pound"

if that's your definition then sure we need to be a ground and pound team....

That’s anybody’s definition of a ground and pound team. Even OSU is a ground and pound team. OSU, Bama, UGA, Clemson, Michigan, Penn State, Michigan State, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Baylor, and ND all need dominant run games to make their O work. Nobody runs the ball 40 times anymore but it’s still the biggest principle for an offense. You don’t have one and you’re a fluke.

If that's your definition I think everyone will agree that we want to have a dominant run game. But the problem is I don't think that many will share that definition of ground and pound. So yall are just arguing without agreeing on the meaning of the terms being used basically.

No. He wants to be OU. I want to win rings. Not the same but I can see how you could think that.

Even though nobody does it anymore, you need to be able to say that I can beat you running the ball 40 times. If you’re effectively running the ball 25-30 times in a variety of styles then your O is a joke and one dimensional.
