These kids are fûcking dumb. I'm not mad that FSU lost a recruit, but I wonder why all these kids want to go to a school where there is a possibility of not seeing the field, 4* or not. How many 5 and 4* recruits end up transferring from alabama for this reason.
If the ultimate goal is to get paid in the NFL, go to a team where you can actually make a difference and stand out.
If TY Hilton for example, ends up at Bama as a 3rd stringer, does he get drafted and have the career he has now? Does Duke Johnson?
I'm probably just mad that Bama literally does whatever the **** they want and no one seems to be able to dethrone those fûcking rednecks.
I hope little Nicky breaks his neck in the shower after celebrating the NC this year.
We used to say that Miami's competitive environment bred the very best.
For the most part those were Miami kids competing. I'm just upset that Bama cherry picks who ever they want. When we were on top we were doing it mostly with south Florida kids... We never recruited the way Bama did. At least not to my knowledge.
Nope. We never have recruited as well as Bama did, but if we're ever going to be back, we better exploit our competitive advantage. And, if we do, like what we're doing at DL, we can't tell kids "we have too much talent; you'll be better off going to X school and making a name for yourself." The pitch will be exactly what Bama is doing: "come here and if you're as good as we all think you are, this place will make you better and you'll get paid more."
Bama's primary competitive advantage is resources. Our primary competitive advantage is geography. We need to be better at finding the badass athletes who are angry enough to keep growing through college. If we get enough of those guys, I'll put them up against Bama's guys. The front-running thing is real. We have to find a way to play within this new generation.
