I always wonder though so if he does come here and we say lose one of the younger DEs in spring who also likely have a decent NIL is it that much more? I have no clue
No clue, not touching that one lol.

It’s possible the kid is just asking for insane **** and/or OSU is being dramatic because they aren’t gonna get him. Not too sure there as always who the heck knows the truthIdk if this is one worth dropping the big bucks on considering we have a few more pressing needs IMO

From what I gather OSU might be looking for a veteran to bring in and if Miami and Missouri are driving up the price they might bail. I heard a weird story about a private jet and some extreme asks but that could just be nonsense in case they’re just trying to soften the blow of not getting himI mean it wouldn’t shock me. He did visit Mizzou. They got some dough to spend.
Mesidor going to DE alreadyGet Damon and move Mesidor to DE.
Would be a nasty Dline then.
Meant to say move him to DT.Mesidor going to DE already
We already tried that this year. He shouldn’t be inside.Meant to say move him to DT.
doubt he would come back to play DT anywayWe already tried that this year. He shouldn’t be inside.
Get Damon and have Mesidor come off the bench.Get Damon and move Mesidor to DT.

What was his weight when he got here? Issue is he’s too big to be a dominant DE at pass rushing and I also have concerns about maintaining the edge. We were terrible on both sides. He would need to shed at least 40 pounds, not sure if that’s doable.I also think Mesidor is best suited for edge and was basically negated inside this season. The moment he went back to edge this year, he became a bit more noticeable. I like Mesidor, but he isn’t a force inside and thats probably because he is only 280. Playing him inside against Notre Dame will likely be no bueno. I personally don’t want Bain in there either, never have and for similar reasons. He needs to shed a few and return to the more than stout edge defender he was in 2023 that had the juice to bend the corner and pressure the QB as well.
Interior should be Blay/Scott/Moten/Horton and would personally like another older body for depth behind those 4 to carve out the 3 deep with Artavius. This is a big Spring for Scott and a chance to elevate himself with a new set of eyes on him who oversees that side now. Would be nice if we could develop our 5*s and they played up to their billing…
The bag is one that says, WE WANT A SHIP .Word is OSU might back out because of the price
We might be Richie Rich right now idk
It could mean that, according to where u at.Is that a regional thing??? I coulda swore it meant flipping to the feds and becoming an informant
You and happy together at the same time! I need to see this...lmaoI hate osu vigorously. We need an upgrade at DE. This has strong potential to make me happy.
Mesidor can’t hold up there brother. That was an idiotic move by the staff. When he moved back to de he flashed more than the rest of the year combined. I griped about it from the moment I heard he was playing inside. Imo If anyone should move it’s Bain. Bain is thicker ( pause ) and stronger.Get Damon and move Mesidor to DT.

Agree with this but Bain is a different animal. He’s a tad shorter than prototypical DT but strong as an ox. His long term best spot is 3 tech imo. Mesidor is quicker off the edge with better bend but Bain is an immovable object. On top of that his speed is much more of an issue inside . Multiple ways of beating you, speed or power.I also think Mesidor is best suited for edge and was basically negated inside this season. If the staff believes he is top tier then we should get him if we can. We have learned the hard way that waiting on talent leads to missing out all together. On defense we need a starter at LB and another DB more but they just aren’t promised in the spring window.Idk if this is one worth dropping the big bucks on considering we have a few more pressing needs IMO
