Damarius Good commits

Shields and burns were consensus 4 star recruits, Jackson was rated a 4 star but multiple sites. While shields was mostly a receiver in highschool, burns and Jackson played ALOT of db in highschool

everyone knows I wasnt High on the bethel take and imo his film thoroughly outclasses goods and that’s just being real

Banda recruiting them sleepers bethel and now good lol, but for real not going to stress it but just need to see how he progresses I guess

Goods only film is of him playing wing back in a wing T offense while being recruited as a DB. So, sure, Bethel has "better film." But from a raw athlete/upside potential Good has Bethel beat IF he can prove he has any sort of ball skills.

Good: 6 ft 185 Ibs 10.63 as a junior (and more physical than Bethel)
Bethel: just as fast but coming in at a soaking wet 160 Ibs...kid is a project and has work to do

I can't stand when some people don't know nothing about football and potential. Most of the NFL draft picks are drafted because of potential. Y'all need to look at Florida State 5 stars and the other 5 stars who didn't get drafted. For example tolliver from LSU..eberybody **** in they clothed when he left the state....and McFadden from Florida State...bot even drafted.... I'll take this kid all day with his potential. 10.63 and 6 feet tall, I'll take him... I played wing T .....1 year highschool. I tore my knee my Jr year and rehashed. My senior year I played 5A in Florida. Never played cornerback in high school... Went to SEC and shut down some good receivers on a poor defense. I was drafted 1st day. Started as a rookie. So I'll take bethel and good any day. You haters stop predicting people future. Yall what you call dream killers..Trust the coaches. As soon as them boys balling y'all gone be on their bandwagon. So if your not sold on this commitment kick rocks...Mr. Good if you listening f%$# the haters and use it it as fuel to reach your potential. I believe in ya...I like this commitment....

Are you sure that Good is being taken as a CB? What if they took him as an athlete and will try him at CB first? Deejay, Redwine, Frierson, Choc, Smith & Finley... this staff will get something out of the kids! We just need to close on 2 CBs that can step foot on campus with experience and skills for CB.

That remains to be seen if he is a better athlete than bethel who from the looks of it is a really good athlete as well

Not completely disagreeing with you. Good needs to have a decent showing at paradise to prove he can stand his own at DB...we don't have room for him at RB.

People seem too focused on the CB thing. The kid very well could end up at Safety or stick on offense. The reality is he's a kid built like Frierson who also has elite speed.

You're delusional if you think this is a backup plan. You take backup plans in Jan, not in May. He's obvioiusly someone they eval'd in person and thought could play here. Happy to have him.

And what Dmoney said seems pretty evident. They could have higher ranked kids like Jaden D if they pushed for them. They just don't seem to like any of the local CBs outside of Brownlee and I guess Elam. So when you need 3 CBs in a class, you have to expand the board
 
At the very least the kid doesn’t suck. 10.6 (as a junior) with height and physicality will find a place on many p5 programs but we’re complaining?!
We complain about depth and how there are some dudes on squads that are awesome back ups and st contributors and now we have a dude who brought his folks down and committed and no one with any sense can say for sure that this young man won’t crack the 2 deep eventually.
His stock will shoot up after 2-3 games as a db and then we’ll complain about the teams that are trying to flip him.

South Florida is weak by DB standards this year. Outside of Stevenson, every DB has flaws

No offense to you but we been doing that for the last 15 years......hows that working out. Dont know how all these other teams without the 3 stars from south florida keep winning
