Yeah I know But he’s played in every game. He’s had some nice moments but I’m not that impressed. We’ve seen what generational talents have done their first year at the position and he hasn’t done that consistently

I would add that those “generational” freshman QBs played for better coaches, better o-lines, and had better receivers to throw too. All that stuff matters, and you haven’t even considered it.

Having the QB of the future on the roster pays dividends. Whether or not he lives up to the hype is another story. If we had better we would have better.
