chris leak threw for 16tds and 11 picks as a freshman

Anthony richardson had the same stats Lagway has now.

why am i better than this?.

I just listed two other star qbs they have had...and which contingent level he would be. Richardson was considered star and won nothing...Leak got a natty

He’s talented but he has not played like some of the phenom freshman qbs in the last decade. Not even close actually . Some of the ints are really bad

Richardson was like the 200th best prospect in his class. He was a fantastic athlete but a massive project as a passer. And we saw how that worked out.

Lagway was the national player of the year, a high-five star, and infinitely better as a prospect. He’s probably better today than Anthony Richardson is…today.

Lagway will be a lot more like Leak than he will like Richardson. Leak was a big time blue-chip recruit. I’m guessing he holds just about every passing record in their history. But he was small and didn’t have near the arm talent Lagway does. (Buddy threw about the prettiest spiral I’ve ever seen though).

Bottom line, to me, Lagway and Richardson won’t even wind up on the same planet. Leak…idk that was almost 20 years ago now, the game is a lot different but Lagway is going to put up video game numbers provided he stays there. Only thing that can hold that kid back is Billy, and that’s a very real possibility. He’s got everything you want in a prospect.

How many games has he started? 3?

Just hope Billy gets smoked their last 2 games and he gets fired and the kid bounces. I don’t wanna see him there the next 2 years.

Yeah I know But he’s played in every game. He’s had some nice moments but I’m not that impressed. We’ve seen what generational talents have done their first year at the position and he hasn’t done that consistently
