Im still mad AG and staff moved him to offense after seeing him play scout team QB. Still dont know why he hasnt been moved back to DB yet.

James, Duke, and Clements are ahead of Dallas at RB while there is a bunch of JAGs at S alongside Bush.

Dallas had 19 picks his Jr and Sr years in HS, 19 fckn picks.

Now there are rumors he is thinking about transferring because he isnt happy. Kid needs to be DB again and plays bigger than a 5-9ish DB. The D needs playmaking ballhawks at S, not JAGs.

Dallas Crawford is still just a RS Frosh, he still has lots of time in a Cane's uniform to make an impact. It isn't like he is a junior that hasn't seen the field in 3 1/2 years. I think some are over reacting a bit to his lack of PT.

I just want to see him on the field

He's the type of kid you just need to get out there. He's a baller

I agree.

I would also like to say he isn't exactly some beast on special teams either. I think he has 1-2 tackles, a penalty and an interception (on a freak punt fake).

Crawford has to be patient. His gift is also his curse in this situation. He is able to play multiple positions but the coaching staff cannot settle on where he should be. He transfers then he will have to burn his sophomore year due to transfer rules and hope to see the field as a RS Junior if he decided to transfer. So, he should take a note from Davon Johnson and be patient and keep working

After seeing Crawford's frame I can't imagine him at S, he's tiny.

Has played pretty well on STs, would like to see what he can do with the ball in his hands.

I don't care if he is 5'9...he has the ball hawking/play making ability we've been lacking on defense for some time now.

Telemaque is 6'2 and can't play for ****.

Do you think if he was that good at S that the staff would have moved him to RB? The staff sees these guys every single day in practice. If he would be starting at S right now, he wouldn't be a RB.

Maybe he should talk to Davon Johnson about sticking it out and continuing to work hard. That's not to say he should or will wait several years for a shot, but there's something to be said about playin your role the best you can, for the team, and trusting in the process.

I think if he continues to do that the the opportunities will find him sooner than later, if he is deserving.

I like DC so I'm hopeful he'll work through whatever is going on and make an impact the way he wants to.

This, Bob Snaders was about 5'8'' and he was a pro bowl safety.

I've known Bob for most of my life (cool story bro) and he is the fastest most explosive dude I've ever seen. Tough to compare anyone to him.

Telemaque was a stud in HS, that doesnt mean it will translate to the next level. The fact of the matter is that Crawford wasnt able to beat out Kacy Rodgers and VT. Just think about that for second, but yeah he is a ball hawk. I wish the kid the best of luck, I still think the kid can still contribute here as he is still only RS Freshman, but this is another case where fans blindly out of frustration say the next guy is better than the disaster they see on the field.

Partially its radio's fault that we literally ran out of bodies this Spring that could catch & run the football, partially its that he's behind a few guys right now. He'll get his chance (maybe this week), he just needs to do something with it.

Yeah you guys are right. The staff moved the All-American S to RB, where he sits on the bench, for the **** of it.

+1

how do you know he is ballhawk, high school? I can see him covering kelvin benjamin
Sanders is a rare breed

The staff moved him to RB in the spring out of necessity.

I'm sure they didn't think Telemaque was going to be this bad.

Obviously they aren't going to move a kid from 4th string RB to starting Safety in the middle of the season.

I just think he has the most potential at safety and he seems like he can be a big play maker for us on defense.

Yea he should work hard and try to fight for a position... That being said, I believe Davon Johnson was a different story... The kid would have played earlier in his career if not for injuries... The kid has been battling injuries since his freshman year... Last year the staff moved him to db and he moved back during spring... I think he also contemplated transferring... Anyway, DJ is finally healthy which has been his main issue throughout his career...
