DAILY DEBATE: What do you want to see against FAMU?

I want to see the U look like the U is supposed to when playing an inferior opponent. We should dominate in all three phases of the game and have backups in by mid 3rd quarter

Other than that, I want to see what these young guys can do. I want to see them get some good, solid reps in these next two games.
Guys like Trader, Carr, Pruitt, Chance, the Washington Bros, CJ, Hellcat, etc.

Besides “no injuries and a W.”
- At least 3 passing TDs
- At least 3 rushing TDs
- Borgy hits 2 40+ FGs (he has me concerned for some reason)
- No mental penalties

This is not to humiliate FAMU by any stretch; however in today's gaudy "Madden numbers" world, our Canes are going to be under incredible scrutiny week-to-week to put then up.

The machine has to keep getting fine tuned and if that means running up the score against overmatched opponents, so be it.

With that said, can't do tbe above with starters in 3Q/4Q and risk stupid injuries.

Very fine line that must be walked.

300 yds rushing, 300 passing, Cam done by 2nd drive of the 3rd qtr, defense just dominating the LOS and forcing turnovers

Regardless of score, don’t think cam is out until after the 1st series or 2 of the 3rd. He needs 250-300 yards if he’s going to stay on pace to be a heisman finalist. Mario knows this. Ward having that kind of season (along with a playoff season) will bring more publicity than we’ve had in over 20 years.

Just a clean game as much as possible..no hangover …get poff and emory a lot of reps in third and 4th empty the bench

I think we "know" what we have in our starting players. I would like to see the second and third guys dominate. That would show quality depth. Oh and have Ward get 300 yards in a quarter and a half...............

I’d like to see continued good eye discipline and not falling for trick plays. This is FAMU’s Super Bowl, they will use everything at their disposal.

Discipline. Coming off a big win, I will measure this teams' progress by how focused they are. Can't be a playoff team ready to make that leap while suffering self-inflicted hangover penalties and languid starts. No matter the opponent, come out the smoke and you lay every bit of it on the field.

The players I really want to see are:
(1) Markel Bell OT
(2) Sampson Okunlola OL (might take reps at both G and T)
(3) Chris Johnson RB
(4) Ny Carr WR (assuming Jojo is not burning his Redshirt)
(5) Cole McConathy DE
(6) Bobby Pruitt LB
(7) Z Patterson S
