Josh Allen couldn't hit the front side of a 30 Foot wide Red Barn standing 30 feet back a few years ago. It took lots of developmental coaching and his own work ethic to become the QB you see today. Can Brown get some improved level of coaching and he, himself, dedicate the time needed to become much better? Time will tell us....

I think there are two components to accuracy: knowing where to throw it and being able to get the ball to that spot.

I believe the latter is coachable to some degree with better motions, habits, footwork and concentration.

The first one is tougher because it represents visual-spatial skills, anticipation and mental processing. I think this is tougher to coach. However, it does get better with experience and familiarity with personnel. I think this is what people really mean when they say the "game slows down for them". Those mental processes happen more naturally so that the muscle memory can take over.

Personally, I worry about quarterbacks being able to improve in this regard but it certainly can be done. I am behind the kid 100% because he has been a proud and committed Cane from day #1

I feel it's a little bit of both. Mechanics can be altered, motions can be fixed but a really inaccurate guy isn't ever going to be pinpoint accurate. Even guys who have made big improvements still struggle with certain throws. Josh Allen still has wtf? throws every week even though he's become one of the better quarterbacks in the league. It also helps to have a coach who can scheme around your strengths and weaknesses.

from what i have read over the years, very difficult but not impossible to overcome. jalen hurts is one of the few examples that shows with hard work and good coaching you can improve accuracy.

Was he miraculously going to be a polished QB overnight? lol Give him time. It was always said that it would take him a couple years to develop. He seems like a project worth putting in the time and energy for. Talent is too good not to ignore.

Except he doesn’t really have that much time. With the dumpster fire that was our season last season and qb recruiting failures, he’s a hit on TVD away from being the starting qb. He has to make major strides this summer because of how thin our qb room is.

I'm not ready to throw in the towel with him just yet, but for his own financial future, if he hasn't shown significant improvement as a QB by the end of this season, he might consider moving to the outside and become a killer WR or TE.

I believe it’s you got it or you don’t. People like to point to josh Allen but that is a rare occurrence. I think you can improve it with mechanics and things like that similar to a jalen hurts but you won’t ever be just a naturally great passer

- Ahmad Moten is continuing to make plays and looks like a legitimate part of the rotation. He has been starting all spring (the second-team at DT has walk-ons due to injury) and brings a nice combination of size and disruptive ability.

I’ll start with a couple of examples, Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts - a couple of notable NFL starters who began their CFB careers as significantly below average passers. So yes, it happens.

It happens, but not often.

Nice to hear that the offense is moving the ball and scoring....what a difference from what we heard during last years spring.

The reality is we just need a slightly above average offense to pair with a slightly above average defense. If we have that...guaranteed that Mario's recruiting operation will take care of the rest.

This is the time of the year when I start to predict a better season because @DMoney hypes me up. So, my prediction has changed from 8 wins to 9 now. A couple more reports in the next few weeks and in fall camp and I'll be at ACC Champs. By game 1, I'll likely be at 15-0 haha.
