Lulz at segregating a message board. Use the ignore user option.
Under what most folks would consider normal circumstances, I'm rational, sane, and prudent.
But after games like yesterday? Full-on batschitt/off-the-chain, berserk. My bad, just the way it happens.
Today? Aggravated and confused as to why certain things continue - CONTINUE - to occur.
But I come here, NOT to hold hands with others, or pat each other on the back in reassurance - I come here to see if I'm the only one seeing these things, feeling these things, and find out if there's any light at the end of the tunnel.
If someone is so offended by post-game furor, then maybe they need to take a day or two off so their delicate sensitivities aren't touched upon.
I haven't had the chance to respond. I have noticed since these boards started that the best posters from Grassy, with the exception of D$ and Lu since they run the site, don't post nearly as much on here as they did there. This isn't coincidence.
Grassy was filled with a lot of good discussion, in large part because of the quality of the poster. Lots of educated people. Education and intelligence leads to good discussion.
This site is becoming the equivalent of the free board there. No premium member would ever post there.
This should not be construed as me liking Grassy more than this site, cause that is certainly not the case. What it comes down to is the value of time. I don't have time to have 7500 posts on this site, or to read through them, like some people do. I work. A lot. So when I come here, I want to get Canes info, not sort through a 5 page thread filled with "we skate."
Just my two cents. Take it for what its worth. But it seems like the mods are letting the nuts run the nuthouse.

Make sure you do speak up and use the report post function often.
What I've seen from the Mod side is posts do get deleted but the offender doesn't get a warning and they are right back at it within the hour.
As Lu stated, we need to have a quicker finger here, but we need the input from the posters as well.

If they want to keep this site clean, the bolded is big. This site allows the "name" posters to troll and nothing happens.
Just neg into oblivion. Too many negs and you're gone.
They've talked about that but it's not practical imo. It will get abused badly.
Agreed. Example, I liked someone's post and then get a notification that I have negative feedback with the reason being: "dont support Aziz,******."
I don't care that I got negative feedback, but if you start using feedback as a way to control access, people will just neg those they disagree with (even more so than they already do).
