I've asked before, gonna say it again. It's time to start a premium board.

An idea, just came to me as I type this, is that we upgrade good free posters without a charge. That way young bucks with decent insight or cats without dough to spend here can be involved.

It's time boys. Love what you're doing, but real posters don't have time for bull**** like this after losses.

You both know it. Do what needs to be done.

I don't know if a premium board is the answer, but some way of getting away from the hysteria of this board where the majority of the posters seem to think we are either the best team ever or the worst team ever when we barely beat/lose to a mediocre team would be appreciated. Love the legit analysis some post and have no problem with positive or negative opinions/posts, but I can't stand the over reactions (either way) on here.
 
Problem is, even good posters go full ****** on gameday...especially after a loss.

This. I was with a few regular, level-headed posters yesterday. And guess what? We all lost our ******* mind after the game. These threads need to stop and are extremely pointless. There is nothing wrong with being ****ed after a ****** loss to a ****** team.

exactly Scranton can't understand why we complain. When we know it should be better than this!
 
Things should be better but creating a board that keeps the unselected from talking would only decrease interest. There wouldn't be a good way to evaluate users that can post other than hand picking them. Everyone has good rep so we could use that. We lost a game yesterday that we should not have lost and the entire board went full potato and the same thing would have happened on a premium board.

It wasn't just yesterday. This board is filled with bull****. It gets worse on game day, but in general it's hard to read most days.

If I'm in the minority that's fine, but if you can't pony up $5 a month, I don't care what you have to say.
 
Come on man with;xbox,sirius,netflex, my ******* bank. I'm being nickled and dimed to death.I really appreciate this site,even if i don't offer much to the forum.

I agree with you that there are some posters that bring the quality of content down, but also see where bringing in a premium board won't really change things either.

Honestly felt Lu handled it the best yesterday in his coaching thread where he told posters to attack substance of the post, not the poster, or GTFO.

Why is it filled with bull****? Yeah, some posters and posts suck. That's the nature of a DISCUSSION BOARD. Do you go around everywhere else in life getting ****y when people don't agree with you or approach issues the same way as you?

At the end of the day, the state of our program is bleak. Sure, there may be some light somewhere, but all in all, the situation realistically sucks. You can't blame people for going potato at times.

This is a serious concern and you guys saw my reaction yesterday. Look forward to more opinions and discussions as to what's the best solution. I realize people get riled up after a loss, but yesterday was an entirely crazy swing of nonsense. It seemed impossible for any football to be discussed yesterday.

Thank you. Look....we are all guilty of going bat **** on occasion. What I usually do, after a game like yesterday's, is to get away from the board for the rest of the day. Then, when I return, I simply don't click on the full-****** posts...it's that simple. I go find something with a NSFW tag on it, instead. I appreciate the hard work and dedication the guys have put into making this site the best Canes site anywhere. I also give mad props for keeping it free.....the way things are right now, I couldn't justify spending money on an internet forum, so thanks boyz.

My MO is what I did yesterday: I realistically can't patrol the entire board, but anything I come across that is more of a reply/attack on a poster rather than a post, it gets a warning. After that, I ask the poster to please get off the board. If the poster can't realize it, banned from this board and he/she can gladly go discuss in the WEZ.
