2022 Cyrus Moss - DEFENSIVE END - COMMITS!

If he sent it in secret no one knows but him and us. Landing does not know, therefore he would not be in trouble.
Not how it works, if he signed he wouldn't talk to other coaches. Why would someone that has already signed with a team field a call with a new coach and just completely lie to him the entire length of the conversation?

No one needs to sign a NLI, they can just enroll in a school. Moss hasn't signed anything he will just enroll in January, he probably has already committed, but he has not signed anything.

There is no real benefit to a recruit signing an NLI aside from ensuring their spot on the team. Once they sign the school has to release them completely or they are stuck and would have to go through the transferring process. Obviously schools want them to sign the NLI so they know how many recruits are in their class and can find replacements, if need be, instead of finding out moving day when it would be too late to get back up plans.

And wasn't he the last recruit Mario visited just before announcing he was leaving for miami.
I'd be surprised if he's not already a silent. He and Kelly need to be ready to make a push for playing time. Even if/when we go get a portal Edge, one of these guys (maybe both?) is likely to get snaps next year.

This dude was verified 6' 5" 220 4.6 40, 4.1 short shuttle 18 months ago. Assuming he's grown (weight) a tiny bit already, it's not wild to think he can be a solid 6' 5" 240 to start the season and give some spot snaps.

Only if Oregon knew he signed. If he hasn’t told anyone they’d have no way to know.
Well the original plan was that he was signing that Friday. If CIS I knew of this, certainly CFB coaches nationwide recruiting the kid knew of this. Then rumors were he did not in fact sign like Coleman allegedly did. Then the Oregon re/offer or reconfirmation of one was made news. At that point, Oregon should have done their due diligence there as that would in fact be a violation. Everything here strongly suggests that he did not sign.

He already had an offer from Oregon. They didn't pull it cuz Mario left. So more than likely thats a verbal from the new coach like, we still want you. Imo
Eh, when a school changes coaches, offers and commitments are off the table. There have been plenty of guys over the years who committed to a fired coach only to find out they’re no longer wanted by the new staff. It just happened with that wide receiver who was committed to Florida but ended up signing with Oklahoma.

Can bishop Gorman kid enroll early? I agree elite recruits shouldnt sign NLI’s just enroll.

Moss tweeted out after the Friday of signing day that he received a offer from the new Oregon coach. Would be a major violation for Oregon if true.
How would it be a major violation if the new coach doesn't know that he signed his paperwork.

You are recruiting a kid that has since signed with another school. It’s the school’s obligation to perform due diligence.
