If what is being speculated is true then Golden better win a lot of games next year. Winning cures a lot of problems.

I don't know...this sounds like Harris was telling the staff he was coming, but the kid wouldn't commit. Space is tight, maybe they had another kid waiting on that spot and they had to make a call. You gotta make hard choices. You don't want to tell let's say Bryant, no because we think we're getting kirkland...and then he picks another school on NSD and you get nobody.
 
We have a recruiting staff of Golden, Coley and Cristobal. All of them are lauded as being prime recruiters. You really think they would do something this stupid?

Honestly though... consider this...

Kirkland's loopy relative gets a hair up his *** to ride dirty with Ol' Miss... Golden catches wind of it and drops DK, but takes the high road and doesn't tell Ice about the shadiness... perhaps being pressed for a reason spits out the 'no room' excuse in an effort to not out DK...

Ice gets ****ed, calls Manny and here we are.
 
I hope that everyone from many to ice to Kirk comes out tomorrow with a major "there was a huge misunderstanding"

So you're telling me that Ice told the coaches that Kirkland was going to sign with Miami, and then the coaches go out and tell Kirkland that if he doesn't announce right now, they're going to drop him? Yeah...that sounds pretty legit to me.

Don't mind floating it out but, sounds like Barrow may have planned to line someones pockets, maybe promised Tim a job on the staff. Who knows but, Harris's reaction to all this makes it seem like he got screwed in this deal also. Not sure what this means for 6 but, whatever it is I gotta believe it'll be negative.

Hopefully we can still get him but, I have lost quite a bit of confidence about it.
