I don’t blame him for doing what he did to get away from Golden.

With that said he did spend some time with Saban and has had time to develop as a coach. I’m sure he would do things totally different at FIU if he had the chance. We’ll see how he does at Oregon. He could be our next coach after Richt retires...you never know.

Mario is Stuart Millers guy. He will be the next coach at Miami long as Stuart has anything to say about it.

He took over an 0-12 FIU team and they won a bowl game in the fourth year. You’re being a bit harsh.

Rumph could have did that. He was at FIU ....in the best recruiting grounds in the country...playing in a conference that dont come close to those kind of recruits. AGAIN...he was owned by whomever coached at FAU at the times...who didnt even recruit on par with fiu. I mean if you want to crown him ..crown him. Pete Garcia fired that *** though. lol

Don't you?

Explain to me how he didn't know what a dck face al was when he interviewed for the job, but like a week later the scales fell from his eyes. He didn't leave because al was a dipsht, he already knew that. He left because bama offered him a ton of cash and the chance to write his ticket.

Also, why the fck do people keep bringing this guy up?

It doesn’t have to be between him being great and not doing “sh*t”.

Not crowning him, just saying FIU became respectable under him.

I dont get it...its like they are stuck on him or something....**** we got our own cuban coaching currently.

Good for Mario. Hope he does well enough to stay over in the PAC 10 and be beaten perennially by Washington, USC, UCLA ... certainly the pirate at Washington State will make him look foolish.

p.s., I don't always agree with the guys who say So FL 3 stars are better than rest-of-country 4/5 stars. But we saw it with our own eyes with DJ Johnson vs. Garvin. Personally, I'd rather have the classes Richt has delivered so far. QBs are pretty good out West; every other spot I'd take a FL/GA kid in a NY minute.

The NCAA has basically told everyone that wants to to go ahead and pay cause we’ll just act like we care and Oregon hired a saban apprentice. Not taking anything from Luigi since I am also of the mind that even kool can recruit at bama. But it has amazed me that Oregon has never been a recruiting powerhouse given the resources. If you can get a kid to tuskkkaloosa you can get a kid to Eugene. That place basically won the facilities race. Maybe it’s the Kelly stench that lingered too long and the boosters got shook. We’ll see if it relates to wins.
