Couple of Practice 1 notes

Also, might have been just because he was the only one in a black jersey (Chick being in red and not practicing fully), Kamalu looked like the leader of the DL. Players respect him

Look at Perryman jeez

According to Matt Porter, Perryman said he's going to play 4-3 MLB.

Could it be?!?!??!?!?!?

I think what he means is that when we line up in a 4-3, he will play MLB and Kirby will play WLB.

They were almost exclusively 3-4 today, with Perryman lining up inside to the strong side and Kirby inside on the weak side (same side as the stand-up rush end).

How did Kirby look?

And my vibe has been killed.

golden always says he is big on upper classmen rotating around to help their nfl stock.

on a side note, watch the clips on hurricanesports.com and the players seem to praise ryan williams a lot, i never heard them talk about morris that way. i hope this kid can give us a good year.

He just got done from practice lol.. He's bloated and was probably breathing hard from just getting done from practice lol.. Perryman is far from fat but most guys here never worked out or played football in there lives.

Prime example of why being a hybrid front in college is dumb:

On first and second down you are asking DP to be a powerful two gap ILB with the size and strength to play guards head on, shed and make a play. To do this he MUST be over 240.

Then on third down or against option teams you are asking him, now as a slower bigger guy, to be a sideline to sideline player, where he is now too slow to be effective. It's mind bogglingly stupid.
