4.3 is the new 4.7 for some people, apparently. Kid is slow and has been woefully unproductive. Not like there's much upside here considering his tools are so limited.

Hard pass. If we're not settling at WR, there's no point in pursuing this kid at all.

I loved the Colbertson pick up because I knew he had great speed, was a very willing STs tackler, and that Charlie ******* was a dumb cvnt who dumped all Mack Brown's guys. It's one of the reasons he failed harder than any coach in Texas history.

Given our situation at WR, he's a take for me.

He's a fast four star kid who obviously failed to live up to expectations at ND, but it's well within the realm of possibility that Kelly mismanaged or mind****ed the dude. They're not all gonna work out like Colbert did, but worth the gamble.

I don't know much about Holmes, but I agree with those Canes who understand there is a difference between being fast and playing fast. It's the same reason I never fully understood the 7 on 7 craze because the single element that makes football different from almost every other sport is missing - the threat, or perhaps better still the certainty, of repetitive physical violence.

Since he has already graduated he would not count against our scholarship numbers, so why not sign him up. It won't cost us anything.
