Anyone here realize Columbia is actually a good team that we probably would have beaten 2-1 in the regular season?

LOL, oh Lord, here we go already.

If we played Columbia in the regular season, we would have seen their three weekend starters. Who did we see tonight? A guy who made two starts all year long and a guy who hadn't pitched in six weeks. National seeds score 15 runs against that kind of horsesht pitching. Us? We get shut out for the first time all year. At home. With our entire pitching staff available except the Fri and Sat starters.

Gotta win Monday or we really do suckz again.

I just can't see the meltdown in the regional happening with us this year even thought we lost a stupid one tonight. We will win 12-4 or something like that tomorrow.

wouldnt put it past UM unfortunately to allow Columbia to score 5-6 runs off the bat today, and btw we're visitors

Extremely disappointing performance last night. UM should have hit like it was BP off the first reliever. The fact that UM made a kid who wasn't good enough to pitch for Columbia on a regular basis look like Nolan Ryan last night was telling. Add to that the fact that the bats have been pretty silent after the 5th inning the entire regional, and I am looking directly at your boy, Morris.

Team has mailed it in. No chance tonight. Columbia
is a better coached team with more poise. Hype got
to our boys I'm afraid.

Ignoring all the doom and gloom, or the rainbows and sunshine crowd...can we discuss the game tonight.

Who are we going to be trotting out there and who will Columbia be throwing out there? Does anyone know?

So was this also the case when Miami won 8-3?
Miami has got to be the only school in the country where so many "fans" revel in their misfortune.

Garcia is starting for Miami, no clue on Columbia.

How do you even come up with that? You think people are happy that we were the laughing stock of NCAA baseball last night? I actually think it's the other way around: Miami has got to be the only school in the country where so many "fans" are perfectly okay with a national championship program crumbling to a level where it can't get past the first round.

Because I look at the posters that show up only after a loss and make ridiculous statements that have no basis in fact.

So one poster proclaims Miami has, mailed it in, gotten overconfident, has no chance, no poise and has a coach inferior to Columbias. All over a 3-0 loss with Miami still being able to move on with the win...seems a wee bit suspicious to me.
