Cook's family

Florida got manhandled by Louisville. Miami is an NFL pipeline. Trouble finds trouble. Just because you leave Miami doesn't mean you still won't have distractions and bad influences.

Problem is, we have been getting man handled by too many for too long for us to make noise about their bowl loss. After we beat them week two and get a bowl win, we can talk some more. No one can touch us as an NFL pipeline, but kids want to win as well. So do I.

Dont understand why yall talking bad about his family they havent said anything that makes me think their using him..... So if they were pushing him to Miami they wouldnt be using him? FOH.... Some of yall new UM fans need to pull ya panties up and skirts down 💯

gator?? Is that you?

**** his family is treating him like a meal ticket. Instead of being proud for their son, they are just worried about getting paid. Too many parents like this in today's society.

Truly feel sorry for cook.

Does anyone know this or is it just another post they saw that is their source? How does it make sense that the family was paid off by Clemson but now they would like him to seriously consider UF? Do we just assume they want a bidding war because they don't want him here? It can't be true they want him out of MIA but closer than Clemson? I can disagree with their saying he should get out of Miami, but he's not my kid. I'm not going to send him to **** or claim their pimping him just because he's not a Cane. If someone is going to, I think they aught to at least give a source or some evidence. Just my opinion.

If you're looking for a source, you'll never find it. The $ec recruiting machine is a network of the chambers of commerce, fraternities and sororities, social clubs, alumni associations, and the press.

lol. Cook is better than Corn Elder dude. This is what happens whenever a recruit goes elsewhere -- the kid we're getting instead is just as good even though, in a vacuum, no one would ever maintain that.

This is what happens in South Florida. Kids like Cook get away because we won't give them cash that other schools will offer. I'm OK with that, so long as we land the local kids who aren't selling themselves to the highest bidder (ie, Sony Michel). As good as Cook is, he's not a transcendant talent. Sony is likely just as good, and I'm sure Dade will produce comparable backs in the next couple of years. The problem we've been having is that we've been losing the kids who have their hands out and those who don't. Winning will cure this. Back in 2002-2005, that was the case.

I wouldnt so glibly assume Elder is chopped liver. The kid was Mr. Basketball _and_ Mr. Football in Tennessee. He's a great athlete. But he's also totally different from Cook. Elder may end up at slot receiver. Cook may end up at DB. But if we land Sony and Yearby, we're fine at RB, so this is an academic discussion.

I want my kid to go somewhere far away so he avoids trouble.
Endorses school that has had as many or more arrests as any school in the past five years.

Seems legit.

Them Cooks be trolling.

Not even trolling, some families are just ignorant. Dont do research on schools recruiting their son. McDermotts really are a good example of how to handle the process

If Mr. Sony Michel commits to us next month anything Dalvin Cook says will not go past a one page thread from that day on I can guarantee that... I am starting to see alot of Keith Bryant in this kids recruitment. Just one big headache that I want to avoid.
