That record held for 43 years.
Met the man and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet

MOVE ON ACC
Please let the ACC do what they do and do nothing and let Big12 swoop in.
Wow. If the Big 12 goes to 20 teams, it will be interesting to see what (if any) effect it has on the ACC members voting to dissolve the league? Does it take away the potential landing spots for Louisville, Pitt, VT, etc? Does it make some of the "magnificent 7" teams change their stance (particular NC State & VT)?Right after B1G & SEC
Nope still think 24 eventuallyWow. If the Big 12 goes to 20 teams, it will be interesting to see what (if any) effect it has on the ACC members voting to dissolve the league? Maybe lower payout for these late additions?Lol if the Big12 added the 4 Pac schools that would be a funny twist. Still don't think Stanford would want to do that. And don't know why anyone would offer ORSt and WSU $30M when they're literally about to get relegated to like $1M in a G5....
But the rumors are that ESPN wants Big12 to add them at either $21M (what they currently pay per member cause fox pays the other $11M) or full $32M...Maybe lower payout for these late additions?
Big question: How long is "eventually"? According to the rumors of the Big 12 adding the remaining PAC 4, ESPN is pushing the Big 12 in that direction, not the Big 12 doing it solely on its own volition. Is it beyond the realm of possibility that ESPN's strategy is to agree to full shares for the PAC 4 so the Big 12 deals with the logistics of bringing in 8 teams over the next couple of years instead of just 4 teams in order to fill slots the ACC teams with links to the Big 12 from using until the late '20's at least?Nope still think 24 eventually

Exactly. That what concerns me. It could keep the ACC from imploding for at least a few more years as there would be no landing spots for those who would have Big 12 invites until that time has passed. That’s multi million dollars question
Guess all depends on when ACC implodes
ACC already dead. Just a matter of when.if pac 4 go to big 12, that will be death blow to ACC .Just a matter if its a slow death or fast one.

It could be a slow death for the ACC and painful for Miami.
Because espn wants late window programming now that it dawned on them that they don’t have any. Scared money is bad moneyLol if the Big12 added the 4 Pac schools that would be a funny twist.
