The conference portal is about to get lit.

Fsu boards are going nuts with b1g rumours. UM/FSU to the b1g just makes too much sense to ignore. Two huge football brands, two warm wearher locations for b1g fans to travel to, huge FL media market presence, built in rivalry.
It does seem to provide balance. USC/UCLA out west, then Miami/FSU. If they fill in a bit it's a true national college football conference with big names everywhere.Fsu boards are going nuts with b1g rumours. UM/FSU to the b1g just makes too much sense to ignore. Is the window open? Do we have immediate eligibility, or will we need to redshirt for a year? Can we sign an LOI or is it just a verbal commit?
FSU bolting before us doesn't really mean anything to 98% of the college football fans out there. Would just hurt our egos a little. We better announce before those cucks.
Or at least same time.
FSU in the B10 is a thorn in the SEC's side. Really opens that region of Florida up to B10 program recruiting as well as viewership. If the SEC was smart they would want to keep FSU from the B10,If there is truth to the FSU/Big Ten rumors, it must be true that UF was pushing hard to keep other FL schools out of the SEC. But just as much as UF, I’d imagine UGA and Bama did not want more recruiting competition in FL either. If you got UF banging the table, plus Bama and UGA not on board, it’s not going to happen.
SEC is going to regret allowing us to go to Big 10. This isn’t the ACC.Third largest state in the country, and the place where half the Big 10 goes to retire.
Probably 90% of the population growth in the State of Florida over the past 20 years (outside of Miami / Dade) has been people from the Midwest and Northeast moving into SW Florida (Tampa to Marco Island), Jacksonville to Boca, and the Orlando area. One individual did an economic evaluation and estimated that some crazy number like $100 Billion in 'wealth' had relocated from the MW / NE to Florida over the past five years. These are all people from B10 country so the B10 fanbase in Florida is most likely larger than any single B10 state in the Midwest or Northeast.Fsu boards are going nuts with b1g rumours. Did not see this prior to my previous post. I completely agree. Big 10 will own Florida. You can revisit USF down the road, too, as an option.FSU in the B10 is a thorn in the SEC's side. That sounds extremely specitic as inSEC is going to regret allowing us to go to Big 10. This isn’t the ACC.
Meh. Personally, I just want to win #6. Then #7 and so forth. I don’t care about conference pride but at the same time want to play with the big boys.Man I can’t wait to tell ESPN and the SEC to lick our nuts and F off

Not to mention the number of UM alumni that move back home after graduating. Lot of alumni in NYC, LA, Chicago, and DC areas.Probably 90% of the population growth in the State of Florida over the past 20 years (outside of Miami / Dade) has been people from the Midwest and Northeast moving into SW Florida (Tampa to Marco Island), Jacksonville to Boca, and the Orlando area.
