MEGA Conference Realignment and lawsuits Megathread: Stories, Tales, Lies, and Exaggerations

Ok they need to submit the agenda advance. So if there are 16 members, they need 12 to show up. Better get Pitt, Louisville & GT spots in the Big 12.
Not if there is already a meeting and it isn't an item that requires absolute 2/3 or absolute 3/4. It'd only take majority vote to add the additional item to the agenda during the meeting.

They need a 2/3 vote to dissolve so I’d assume they need to submit the agenda in advance.

There are 15 members including ND, so 2/3 rds = 10. The Magnificent 7 + ND + Louisville (has an invite to the Big 12) = 9 ... just need to get a home for Pitt.

But to dissolve the conference,is ND a party to that vote?

Yes ... ND is a full voting member even though they just have 5 football games. They were granted that status to come on board with all of their other sports programs and a commitment for 5 football games with ACC opponents each season. Conference figured ... 5 major viewership games.

Ok so it circles back to what you said. We need 10 votes.

Miami
Clemson
FSU
UNC
NCST
UVA
VT
ND
Louisville
And 1 more from any of:

Pitt
GT
WF
Cuse
BC
Duke

I’d guess Pitt and GT have the best chances at B12. Not sure about Duke.

Think we've been probably getting worse since 2012 in like every metric except medical research.
The new money we infused into the football program to be competitive did come from the medical department.

Exactly the only options are getting enough members to find new homes so the whole league disbands, or somehow get a court to nullify the GOR. Nether are likely so just have to watch every other school make a **** ton more money than us for over a decade
