The WORST, absolute WORST SEC homer is Joey Galloway. His takes are just brutal

Listening to him justify why the committee should look at UGA differently than they did FSU last year was a joke. And then his comments that "SMU's resume is now more like Miami's than Bama's" .... To their credit, Matt Barrie and Dan Mullen were looking at him like "WTH" man....

They surely have to, right?

With these huge Conferences now you can luck out like SMU and not play any of the big boys in a Conference until the Championship Game.

As sad as it is, I actually feel a little better today because of this. Sure long term it’s a death signal to non SEC/Big10 teams, but I was fuming over being screwed over by the committee.

I can handle our own team blowing it. A tale as old as time for us canes fans. But a decision being made outside of our control to unfairly keep us out hurt. Now it doesn’t matter.
 
I know ppl won't want to hear this but I think its time for the rest of college football to come up with an equitable football playoff system. Give the SEC/BIG the option to have their teams play in it and if they say no you play your tournament and call your tournament champion the NC winner while lambasting their tourney champion as the big/sec invitational champion or the 2 conference champion.

Basically hammer down the point that our NC represents 90+% (whatever the metric is) of all fanbases/geographies/rivalries/states and their tourney champion is representative of only 2 conferences.
