Allen Hurns ran a 4.55 40. Pretty **** good if you ask me. Kid has got to be working his way up draft boards.
That's awesome for him. He'll get a crack.
Lu, what'd you expect him to run?

.kinda funny what they said..seeing Morris was his QB
Analysis
Strengths
Good length and competitive speed. Runs hard after the catch. Adjusted well to frequent errant throws.
Weaknesses
Narrow-framed and non-physical. Struggles to separate against tight man coverage. Lacks polish and precision in his routes. Average burst out of his breaks. Is not a burner -- limited long speed. Soft blocker.
Bottom Line
An underneath, zone receiver, Hurns emerged as the Hurricanes' top go-to receiver as a senior. Runs a lot of simple, stationary, short-to-intermediate routes and could have a more difficult time shaking NFL cornerbacks.
I don't know about Hurns. I mean, he might get picked up but I don't see him contributing much for anybody. Hankerson was a much better WR than him and had much better measureables and all he does is catch 30 balls a year. (not saying that's terrible or anything but it's the perfect example of a "contributor")
I could be wrong and hopefully I am but I just don't see the ability to separate from NFL Corners.

Hurns has better hands than Hank.
Hankerson would put up better numbers on another team...rg# doesnt look for any of the um wr's lol..dude locks in on Garcon and wings it...Tana stay cursing dude out on the sideline.
I could see Hurns going to a team like Seahawks.. Hurns reminds me of a Brandon Lafell that plays for Carolina...his 40 time along with um pedigree likely makes sure he gets drafted in the 5th rd range imo....a bad 40 would of had him undrafted imo.
Louis Nix ran a 5.4, wtf, he tryin' out for the Special Olympics?

He'll at least get a shot now. Also, Hank has always been wildly inconsistent. He had that one year where he balled, obviously. Not to say I think Hurns will make it, but I'm really happy he pulled off a time that will give him a shot.

Won't matter. He's an animal.

......BEAST...
Kid is going to do what he does int he league and thats just beat up centers....
Hurns somewhat ran certain routes better than Hank...Hurns was more sudden in his hitch routes...Hank is kinda robotic in his routes...but he has a crazy wingspan and boxes guys out.
Thats all iw anted for Hurns is a solid 4.5 time to give hima shot like Lu said...hes a kid that will get into a camp and just flourish as he will outwork guys..(Carol city work ethic)...he played some specials early on for us so he maybe able to be a gunner or something....but i think with the right situation he is a 3rd -4th wr on a team..would love the Colts like some one said also as he can learn under Wayne a bit...he already works with Tana.

Wilder should have stayed and played fullback... That guy did not train at all... There's no possible way he trained and showed up running 4.8...
His 10 yard split was 1.72, which is slower than Seantrel's.
Let's see. Runs too upright. Lacks vision. Not explosive. Doesn't have quick feet, and can't outrun our punter, and has never shown he can be a load carrying starter.
Welcome to the world of the undrafted free agent.
He should of been a LB.
He was too hard headed about wanting to be a RB coming out of high school. Now he's gonna be an irrelevant 2nd string RB at best.
