Combine Results Thread

Wilder should have stayed and played fullback... That guy did not train at all... There's no possible way he trained and showed up running 4.8...

His 10 yard split was 1.72, which is slower than Seantrel's.

Let's see. Runs too upright. Lacks vision. Not explosive. Doesn't have quick feet, and can't outrun our punter, and has never shown he can be a load carrying starter.

Welcome to the world of the undrafted free agent.

He should of been a LB.

He was too hard headed about wanting to be a RB coming out of high school. Now he's gonna be an irrelevant 2nd string RB at best.

Too be honest, running a 4.86(4.9) would not have helped his career no matter what position he played... He wasn't healthy either... I doubt playing linebacker would have impacted his career... He's a step faster than Henderson... He's too slow to be hacker either... The kid lost focus along the way...

It makes me laugh that Bridgewater didn't do almost any of the combine drills since he says he believes he is the #1 qb. Funny, because that's a quick way to fall to the #2 or #3 qb in the draft.
Not necessarily true as plenty of top QBs don't really participate & wait until their pro day. F him though.

This was the NFL Network guys talking about him skipping all the important drills. I understand people not doing drills, but what reason did he have to skip the 40?

"He's a step faster than Henderson"?

Who, Florence Henderson?
I would hope he'd be a step faster than a 330lb offensive tackle.
Emmitt Smith ran a horrendous 40 time too, but he had otherworldly vision, balance and quick feet.

Wilder has none of those attributes.

Might have more prospects as a Chippindale's dancer.

1.71 10 yard split for Henderson tied combine record.

His 3-cone was awful. His vertical was not good. And his shuttle was somewhere in the middle. So he showed what he is. An athletic kid who is not every explosive. He cost himself millions had he had the desire to work hard in college.

Pat O' Donnell run a 4.5 and benched 23 reps. WOW!

Brian Monroe was our best athlete when he was here,
wasn't bosher our best tackler
ugh!

It really shows what kids care and ones that do not....I don't think Henderson even lifted??? I know as a sophomore he did like 12 reps..Pat prob will not get drafted but will play in the League for a long time...maybe 6 or 7?

Well, he's got a bigger leg than Matt Bosher. The kid finished second in the nation at 47.13 yards per punt and look at the humidity and altitude he had to kick. Imagine if he kicked out of the Rockies. Good lord.

Allen Hurns ran a 4.55 40. Pretty **** good if you ask me. Kid has got to be working his way up draft boards.

Hurns is going to make a team very happy on day 3. He's going to be a guy that is consistent and move the chains for years in the league. He will never be a superstar but just the type of possession receiver teams need.

.kinda funny what they said..seeing Morris was his QB

Analysis
Strengths
Good length and competitive speed. Runs hard after the catch. Adjusted well to frequent errant throws.
Weaknesses
Narrow-framed and non-physical. Struggles to separate against tight man coverage. Lacks polish and precision in his routes. Average burst out of his breaks. Is not a burner -- limited long speed. Soft blocker.
Bottom Line
An underneath, zone receiver, Hurns emerged as the Hurricanes' top go-to receiver as a senior. Runs a lot of simple, stationary, short-to-intermediate routes and could have a more difficult time shaking NFL cornerbacks.
