I don’t get either of them. Kirby hasn’t won with the talent he has the way he should. He doesn’t seem to handle offense well at all. Sarkisian seems to be at his optimal best as a top OC.

They were paying Dave Aranda something like $2.5M a year when he was there and Pelini just made $2.3M this year.

They have money to spend. They aren't taking a second-rate guy like Blake Baker.

I don't care if he was Blake Baker-Orgeron and Ed's long lost cousin, LSU can afford to pay top dollar for an experienced coordinator—not a guy who needs to call in lifelines to Manolo mid-season when he loses his way.

Wishful thinking—LSU reeling in a guy who just gave up a program-worst 700+ yards to North Carolina.
