Dan Mullen, who had a 103-61 record over 13 seasons at Florida and Mississippi State, agreed to a 5-year deal be the new head coach at UNLV, a source told ESPN.
Was really hoping for Mike Houston. Got word he was around town this weekend. Someone posted pics of him and Noland at the Carnegie and asking who it was. LOL
Houston won the conference at The Citadel and won a national championship at James Madison. I have no idea how you bypass him if he wanted it. And he recruited well at ECU. Guessing he was asking for more $ or really wasn't that interested since he just got canned.
As for Healy, I don't love how his career trended at Charlotte but it wasn't long ago he was a big time upcomer in CFB after that first season there. Good interviewer and younger so I'm not surprised Brian Noland stepped in on it.
Healy would have been 3rd out of the 3 finalists for it... to me.
